I've stopped buying Mayfield milk. It's just too expensive.

Ok I get the 2% milk and sometoimes even the 1% milk. The Dollar store has all milk cheaper than the grocery stores. I also get the chocolate syrup at Wally World that is sweetened with Splenda. So I get my yucky tasting milk mixed with lo-cal chocolate, taste great, low calories and good for me.
I was reading in my WW magazine last night that powdered milk is cheaper and better for you than regular milk, will have to post what they said tomorrow. But powdered milk taste yucky by itself. May just have to try it mixed with something and see.

tulip, I don't think I will chase after cowboy!! Babe is bigger than me and will give me a fat lip. No amount of dairy product will help that!! I would need a thick steak!

Years ago my mother mixed powdered milk and regular milk for all us kids. There was 7 of us and we went through so much milk in a day. She was trying to make the grocery money stretch a little further. I use less than a half gallon a week now. I have drank the chocolate soy milk. It is OK.
