Ya'll have done got me thinking about the drinks stuff too. I'm not a big drinker - maybe 4 mixed drinks a year, maybe a six pack of beer a year. There are some that I like though - I like the hot chocolate/peppermint schnapps, a good Seagrams dry gin Tom Collins, the Sangria from Olive Garden, a freshly made Mohito. In the summer, the Wally-Be-Danged from Outback (all frozen and peachy!) and there's nothing like a super-cold Michelob draft in a frosty glass!

Mmmm, good pizza and cold beer! Cuban food and Mojitos, a good rare steak with shrooms, chocolate buttermilk sheet cake, chinese food, fried chicken, fried okra, greens, cold beer, homemade banana daquiris, chocolate, ...........................

Let's see. Hot COFFEE in the morning. And cold, iced sweet tea during the warm/hot summer days. Cold winter days are for a mug of hot cocoa.

Ground Gator Burger would be good. Gator steaks are right tasty also. Kind of dry, though.

Appleton Estate rum and diet coke. Now, that's the ticket! Diet coke never tasted so good.
Sea scallops sauteed in butter, white wine and a tiny bit of garlic. Oh, boy!

Tessa, I love sea scallops, but please tell me how to remove the sand. I have looked in all of my many cookbooks and on the internet and cannot find the answer. No matter how hard I try to clean them, I always manage to get some sand.

Tessa, I love sea scallops, but please tell me how to remove the sand. I have looked in all of my many cookbooks and on the internet and cannot find the answer. No matter how hard I try to clean them, I always manage to get some sand. Nat, I just rinse them in cold water and pat dry. I don't remember having a sand problem with them. (Think of the sand as a "digestion aid". )
