Health Freedom
Americans are justifiably concerned over the government’s escalating intervention into their freedom to choose what they eat and how they take care of their health.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), in order to comply with standards dictated by supra-national organizations such as the UN‘s World Food Code (CODEX), NAFTA, and CAFTA, has been assuming greater control over nutrients, vitamins and natural health care providers to restrict your right to choose the manner in which you manage your health and nutritional needs.

I have been the national leader in preserving Health Freedom.

I have introduced the Health Freedom Protection Act, HR 2117, to ensure Americans can receive truthful health information about supplements and natural remedies.

I support the Access to Medical Treatment Act, H.R. 746, which expands the ability of Americans to use alternative medicine and new treatments.

I oppose legislation that increases the FDA‘s legal powers. FDA has consistently failed to protect the public from dangerous drugs, genetically modified foods, dangerous pesticides and other chemicals in the food supply. Meanwhile they waste public funds attacking safe, healthy foods and dietary supplements

I also opposed the Homeland Security Bill, H.R. 5005, which, in section 304, authorizes the forced vaccination of American citizens against small pox. The government should never have the power to require immunizations or vaccinations.

I don't know that he can clean up the mess that the last two presidents have made but I really believe that he will try his best. I like the man's ideas pretty good, he's a conservative with a streak of libertarian mixed in. Keep it simple and for the most part keep the government out!

Ron Paul seems to me to be really, really conservative, maybe?

He talks about privacy with medical records and keeping the government out of people's private business then says abortion will be illegal.

Has he not realized that there has always been abortions and always will be abortions whether they are legal or not. How many women and/or girls will have botched abortions and/or die as a result on non-medical care.

Throwing themselves downstairs, using coat hangers, taking mixtures of home remedies and so on and so forth. Throwing babies in toilets or trash cans, or on the side of the road to be found or die. Raising unwanted children in poverty and subjecting them to the bad side of life.

Walking out of the hospital to leave their drug addicted children with addictions, abandoning them to a society that doesn't want them, to be raised by a system who doesn't care if they get placed and if they do what kind of treatment they will receive in the foster home.

If you truly believe in adoption/foster care than you should step up and start fostering or adopting.

Don't just set there and tell me how wrong I am.

And please don't moan and gripe about welfare. Anti-Choice and welfare go hand in hand.

If he's elected president he can't just say that abortion is outlawed, our government doesn't quite work like that even though our current president seems to think that it does. We've had a pro-life president for almost 8 years ago and the only thing that has changed is that partial birth abortions were sort of outlawed, all it will take is one activist judge and that will change. Find 100 18 year olds who were abandoned by their mothers and raised in foster homes, ask them if they would have prefer that their mother aborted them and see what kind of response you get. I've heard of groups going around in big cities and giving clean needles to drug users, I don't see why those same groups of people can't go around and give condoms to poor people who can't afford them. Stopping an unwanted pregnancy from happening in the first place is the solution to the problem. I'm not going to tell you that you're wrong, but you can bet your behind that I'm not going to tell you that you're right either.

I also believe that accidents happen and that every child should be a wanted child.
I also believe that abortion will never be outlawed reagrdless of how many people out there feel it is wrong.

Less take abortion out of the discussion and/or talk about Choice(s).

At what point should US citizen be able to make a Choice for themselves without interference??
Who get's to decide what Choices a US citizen has or does not have?
What other Choices out there are limited to US Citizens.

And agreeing with you I am open to a discussion without inciting a riot or hate.
Because if we never discuss opposing views then we are wearing blinders and that is not a good thing.

Issues are good, but not if they are clouded by misleading semantics. "Right of Choice" and "Right of Abortion" are the same thing except for one very misleading word. Either way, the result is the same: death of an unborn child.

Paul favors the legalization of marijuana.

He voted against all federal employees being subject to random drug tests.

He sponsored the States' Rights to Medical Marijuana Act.

Paul believes that the US Department of Education should be abolished. He thinks that all education decisions should be left up to the states, local governments, and personal decision. While this may seem like a reasonable position, in reality it will stretch the divide between the rich and the poor even further.

Libertarians such as Ron Paul believe in a free market to the highest degree. This means little if any governmental oversight. This means that big businesses would have even more power if Ron Paul had his way. Big business must have governmental oversight or they will absolutely trash our environment. With global warming a scientific fact this is an extremely important point.

It is the human, carrying the other human around inside them, that has the choice as to whether to kill the human tha're toting.
Once the little one is on the outside it becomes "society's" responsibility to keep others from killing the little one.

If Ron Paul thinks otherwise, he's wrong and so is any one else who thinks that way.
