My husband woke me up telling me that the inlaws would be here in 5 minutes and we were going to go for breakfast.. I was up and rushing to get ready for that too.lol! APRIL FOOLS ON ME!HA
We had a date tonight and went to the movies to see Wild Hogs.. we both laughed almost all the way through the movie! Some profanity of course.. but it was funny!

LOL! Fairydust, your husband must be quite a jokester! LOL! O yes he is.. one year we had Ed McMan knocking on our door.. sigh.. he got his friend to do this.. wake up call and he woke me up jumping up and down at 6am yelling we won, we won! At Christmas he was going to do a wood cut out of one of those ladys that is on truck drivers mud flaps to go in the front yard while I was working nights.. however, I finished up to early.. THANK YE JESUS! I would have flipped out if I had drove in and saw that lighted up mud flap lady next to my deer and tree in the front yard.lol! He makes life good tho and I am thankful! Lucky too!

Has certainly been a long, but enjoyable day. My husband and I had to make a trip to the big city; am home at last, reading and relaxing.

What a beautiful day we had after all those storms. It is a little cooler now and is supposed to be in the 30s tonight. I'm excited because we're going to Tellico Plains over the weekend with our friends.

I dread the cold weather about how it will affect my shrubs and flowers!

Summerose. you and me both.. however, if we sweet talk the plants and maybe give them a plastic blankey at night... reckon they will thank us?

I knew there was a reason I don't garden or plant things. I don't want the hassle of covering up things! I'm just NOT THAT INTO PLANTS!! LOL

I watched gardening first hand with mawmaw and saw the beauty that comes from a single seed.. I was always looking.. waiting.. and the feeling of seeing something beautiful grow right before your eyes.. is a very moving thing for me.. and worth all the work.. specially when you do enjoy it.. and stop and smell the roses gives a million great things for those who do enjoy it..
If you do not have patience for it or really "dig" it.. I can understand too.. people "dig" alot of different things.. and thank goodness for that.. cause the world would completely go into a shallow place.. I dig your abilities and efforts you put into other areas Maddy..
