Sorry for leaving you hanging. That is the nature of serials. I hope I don't bore anyone to death, because then I would be a serial killer!
They asked me to do this months ago, and the magazine got delayed apparently. I hope I still have time to do it.
As for your request, thesosbee for a sample, certainly. But once again, I will leave you hanging and you will have to get the book to see what happens!!! Aren't I bad!

By the Waters
A proud member of the Cherokee,
A bold young brave was he.
Strong and full of fire,
He would run and never tire.
Kanati was lithe as a deer when he moved,
All the Cherokee girls adored him; their fathers approved.
The days were bright and free,
As he roamed by the waters of the Hiwassee.
Her blood was pure Cherokee,
A fair young princess was she.
Vibrant and full of life,
Her mind was sharp as a knife.
Katalsta was graceful and beautiful beyond measure.
All the young braves thought her a priceless treasure.
She liked to sit beneath a tree,
As she enjoyed the peace by the waters of the Hiwassee.
Kanati must choose a wife, his adulthood now begun,
Girls were all about, yet he had love for but one.
He loved Katalsta, sitting beneath her tree,
His love was as vast and powerful as the sea.
He longed for her day and night,
Could not bear to have her out of his sight.
She seemed to notice him not as she sat quietly,
Dreaming by the waters of the Hiwassee.
Katalsta knew she could have any brave under the sun,
Yet she had love for but one.
She loved Kanati, so handsome and strong,
Longing for him she sang a great love song.
She thought of him night and day,
Her heart was torn when he was away.
He seemed to care for her not as he ran swiftly,
Chasing rabbits by the waters of the Hiwassee...........
