It's just now 80 degrees here, partly cloudy with 30% chance of showers later. The humidity is a bit lower than usual at 61%.

Light rain, but we just had a big ol' lightening bolt hit not too far away and then the loud clap of thunder which seemed to just keep rolling and rolling! Thunder in the moutains is sooooo cool!
Today's the start of hurricane season if memory serves me right... hope all our FL friends don't have to deal with too much of that this summer!

It's already 76 degrees with high humidity. High for today is supposed to be 95! We do have a 30% chance of rain, so depending on if it rains and when, it will either cool things down or make it steamy. We need the rain, but I just hope it will wait till late evening so it will cool things down.

Actually, the hot stuff has been kind of late getting here this year. It seems like in the last few years, the high heat of summer has gotten worse with higher and higher temps, but the summer isn't as long as it used to be. Don't know if it's actually the case or not, but it feels like it.
