Estelle Getty from the Golden Girls passed away today from advanced dementia. I really enjoyed her candor in that role. She was a very funny lady.

Was that the little old woman? My mom loved that show.My grandmother right now has that. Yes, she was Roses' (Bea Aurthur) mom. It is becoming increasingly more prevalent. It is really sad disease. We often joke about it because we forget so many things, but it is a true and terrible reality for many.

Been out visiting and learning all kinds of good stuff.
Having meatloaf for supper tonight, hope my porch will be half finished if the weather holds.
Headed down to my little shop to create something fantastic. Got a new candle to burn and fresh new ideas and a new CD.
Hey 2C & Sangria I am making a sign that will read "I'll have a vanilla mocha vodka latte with a shot of Valium". What do you think about that?

Freakin' A! I love it! Grab a scrap of wood and slap that on there for me, please? I'll hang it with my other signs, like "So it Ain't Home Sweet Home, Adjust Dumbass"!

Love the new sign idea, Bee! Kinda like "A cluttered house is the sign of a brilliant mind". I used to have a needlework pillow givenm to me by an aunt that said "If the Lord intended for me to see the sun rise, he'd have made it later in the day!" Let's just say I was NOT an early riser back then!
I've been doing a bit of genealogy snooping and searching. Kind of been ignoring it for a while & thought I might get back on it. Found something by accident - while looking on a Georgia genealogy forum for some of my bunch, I found a site for TAYLOR. Goes back to the late 1700 - early 1800's. Seems there was a bunch of Taylor's up in ya'lls neck of the woods! The furtherest back we have on Sonny's family is a James M. Taylor, born about 1813, in Georgia! maybe a connection, but lot's of research to find out. I so enjoy doing this kind of stuff! It's always a thrill to learn something new.

I have neglected my research lately too. We should find and pull up our genealogy topic we had and start working on it.
I think I still have the e-mail you sent me with your family line.
I have several of the Dodge County Newspaper books if you need some help looking there and also the Milan, Rhine and Old Telfair from 1807-1932 that includes the census for that area.
PLUS!!!!!!! LDS is putting all of the past census online for folks to use for FREE!!! No more subscriptions to ancestry.com. Will get the information to you when I get it from from gene researcher friend.

that's a good one, Bee!
My all-time favorite of yours will always be,
'Never enter a battle of wits with an unarmed person. It just makes them look stupid.'
Just says it all!

Thanks Bee, I can use al the help I can get! I've got a couple "brick walls" that I can't seem to get past. The only thing can figure is that my GGG Grandfather was apparently brought here by aliens and dropped off in Georgia. I can't find his parents, any siblings, where he was born or anything!

Took care of all the wreck related business first thing. Then to the bank and grocery store. Picked up baby, outside work, cleaned house and then fed baby lunch. Visited with friend after lunch for a long while. Laundry and then more work outside. Doctored and fed cat (he may make it after all) Back inside to prepare to make more pickles. Got everything rounded up and ready to go for tomorrow afternoon. Wrote a note to a really nice lady now catching up on here.

A really busy day today! Off to work first thing to help a friend, then home to work & clean. Getting office reorganized after moving in all that extra stuff. Just about got a new home for everything should have everything settled in the next few days.
Worked on getting thing together for a trip to the recycle station. Then cooked and ate supper.
Shortly after we ate got a call about baby, then headed to ER so we could hurry up and wait.
After the ER went to Ingles to get things for baby and family Sunday supper.
