Ana what is that and yes the forumteers would like to know you are ok. She's fine. Nothing that taking off 50 pounds won't cure. Weak muscles in the back and stomach increase the risk of backaches. Therefore, moderate exercise is highly recommended. Lumbago is defined as mild to severe pain or discomfort in the area of the lower back. The pain can be acute (sudden and severe) or chronic if it has lasted more than three months. Lumbago often occurs in younger people whose work involves physical effort and is not uncommon in people of retirement age.

Awwwwe! ;D Thanks Laurel and Blessed! Nursipoo is so correct I could sure stand to loose some weight. ;D It also appears that Nursipoo is a good researcher with excellent cut and paste skills. When I was a child I recall all of the older folks talking about their lumbago and rubbing their backs. A good number of years ago I injured my back while doing some pretty hefty work. Now when the old injury acts up I refer to it as my lumbago. Most older folks get a kick out of the fact that I know what lumbago actually is. Sorry nursipoo, while my weight may aggravate my old injury it is not the origination of the problem. Thanks for your concern Laurel and Blessed! I certainly hope that you never experience the type of lumbago I have! ;D ;D

I broke my lumbar in 3 places while in the Air Force, so can I call my back pain lumbago? Yeah that sounds cool.

Lumbago all around for the hard working ladies! ;D Awesome I didn't know that you were in the Air Force. I know a young man in the Force. We were worried to death when he went in. We just knew he would crash all the planes the Air Force had. LOL He did pretty well for himself.

Well if we have an extra pound or two we can blame it on lumbago and we can blame lumbago on our hard working athlectic lifestyle we had at one time.

I don't know about you but I have a husband, children, grandchildren, and animals I still have that hard working athletic lifestyle! ;D I have slowed down some though since the grand baby. I only pass myself 4 or 5 times a day now. It was a dozen or more.
