Went to the doctor this afternoon. YAY!! My sugar was down!! Even with the medication I have been on, it was never below 160. Usually it was much higher, between 175 and 220. Today, about 4 hours after I had eaten, it was at a very acceptable 136! My A1C was 9.6 a couple months ago - now it's down to an even 8! Just one more point to go!
Also, looks like I lost 1/2 pound. Hey, it ain't much, but it's better than gaining a half pound!
The doctor said to continue my meds just like I've been doing - 1000mg of Metformin (glucophage) twice daily, 15 mg of Actos in the morning, then my regular BP pill in the morning and cholesterol pill in the evening. I go back in about a month.

OK I am not braggin but I have to share my good news with ya'll.
Ya'll know you are my BFF's.
I spoke to a friend who owns Cowboy's and I am going to hang some of my art work there, for sale.
Hopefully I will have some stuff in there in the next 2 weeks. So make sure you go by and oohh and aahhhh and talk about how good they look.
Outload of course where the paying customers can hear you. Don't forget to talk about how sweet, pretty, cute and smart and nice the talented artist is.
And smart, don't forget smart.
