Her man is nothing like Gary. I can't figure out what it is she loves about her man, but if we were all the same, everyone would want our men Coosa, so glad we are not!!!

We decided to cook tonight, it beats calling back Cobb's Mill about 4:30 or 5:00 to find out iffin they have prime rib tonight. That is what the girl working there asked me to do when I asked her.
So chicken, gravy and mashed taters, with green beans it shall be!
Ta ta!

They did not have prime rib last night for some reason. The special was flounder again, which gary got again. Our neighbors were there and they came to sit with us for a while.

Wrapped presents, assisted with lilred's homework (which will be addressed in the grrrr topic), cleaned the kitchen, practiced with my new crochet hook, watched 1/2 of the Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again, Biggest Loser and Nip/TUck.

Back to cobb's mill!! Saw some old friends that live next to the house that is falling apart on The mountain, so we had to tell them all about it. We warned them never to walk out of the deck!! some builders should be jailed for what they do!!

Made sugar cookies to have ready for decorating by a 3 year old... I am sure they will all be beautiful! It will be the first time she has ever decorated cookies for Christmas!

BB what a treat for you and I am sure they will all be very beautiful.
Cleaned the kitchen and made cookie bars and no-bake cookies for lilred's school party. Worked on a scarf while watching Survivor and help with homework and studying.

Yep, bee! I miss having my grandson around to help and now I have a new little one to "help" and make a big ol' mess! I told her mom to be sure to dress her in clothes she didn't care about getting food coloring on and to bring the cam-corder! I can see powdered sugar EVERYWHERE!

Oh bb, that sounds great. That is what I remember most about christmas, my mother making sugar cookies, then she would let me put icing on them. To this day, I love sugar cookies with icing!! Yum! We went to cobb's mill and met a guy who bought the spec house we build on the ridge at Owltown. We told him we might be building right behind him and he said he might be interested in selling his house and buying the new one. It will have an even better view!!

Grandbabies can sure get away with more than our kid's did, I wonder why?
Sprinkles are a big hit with little fingers, they love it. You can also take a small hand held strainer (like for tea leaves) and fill it with powdered sugar and let that baby shake away.
YOU HAVE TO MOST DEFINITELY post a picture
