We went to Cobb's Mill. Town was just dead for a Friday night and Joan closed at 8:30 pm.

Stayed at home and watched the movie "Bucket List".Not a bad movie, but I was expecting more comedy, seeing how Jack N. was in it.

We had a little thunderstorm before we left but it was clearing up, so about 6 last night we took off to a DNR dock on the river. It started sprinkling again, but we fished anyway! I caught 3, Sonny caught 2, all catfish! With my 3, I captured the titles of first caught, biggest, smallest, last and most! We may go back this evening. We stayed until just after dark, got to see a wonderful double rainbow and a beautiful sunset over the river.
Got home, Sonny cleaned the fish and I baked a bundt cake, yellow cake with chocolate frosting. The kids got into it when they came in from playing pool, and I think there is maybe half of it left!
Grabbed a shower, watched a bit of tv then headed to bed. Really nice evening.

We went to Cobb's Mill and it was swamped, so we left and went to Mike's. A table of really loud people sat next to us and screamed at each other for an hour!! We enjoyed the little shower we got for a few minutes when we got home.

The Northenders had horrific thunderstorms last night. Our power kept going out

Yep Nat. I think we northenders are in another climatic zone. Rained at our place from 8:30 last night till 2:30 this morning. I loved it!! No power problems on our side of 19/129.

Back to cobb's mill last night and they were pretty crowded too!! Where is this restaurant?I've never seen it.The way you keep talking and going there,it must be some good eating. Is it a fancy place or casual?I can't stand those fancy restaurants,I always feel like I have to be on my best behavior.I went to the Victorian House or Tea room(once, never again) in Blue Ridge and had their prime rib.Lets just say I would have been better off hitting McDonalds and having a quarterpounder with cheese and save myself about 80 bucks.

Coosa doesn't cook and eats out almost every night. Plus she can take her own "package" there. Some people like CM and some don't. We haven't been for about a year, but then we don't eat at McDonald's either. Everyone has different opinions when it comes to food. I think we cook better than most restaurants so we usually eat out for lunch more than dinner.

Cobb's Mill is just down from the old courthouse on the square!! It is not fancy at all and you can brown bag it there. I mostly eat hamburgers and my husband mostly eats salads and they are good there. Good italian food and good shrimp too!! (It is right behind Zaxby's)
