What did you do last night?

Let's see;
Finished painting 2 windows, made a batch of soap, washed and hung out clothes, fed and water chickens, put supers on for sourwood honey, grilled and ate, chatted to my bff's online then read until 12:30.

Had a surprise visit from my aunt and cousin that i haven't seen in almost a year.

Picked up house.
Cooked on the grill in the rain I didn't mind it actually felt good. Kept waiting for my mom to tell me to get in out of the rain. LOL
Three loads of laundry.
Cleaned kitchen, washed jars and cucumbers for pickling
Paper work
Cleaned baby toys
Gave pretty boy a bath
Swept & put that dusting off till another month

Doctor's appt. at 5.
Over to the hospital to see my cousin. She had a complete hysterectomy done Tuesday morning due to "probable cancer". She was scheduled to go home yesterday, but they wouldn't send her. She hasn't been able to keep anything down since the surgery, not even water. They kept her I.V. in to keep her hydrated. And, she was in a lot of pain.
Left the hospital and went over to mama's for a bit, then home. Made a quick supper out of Raman noodles, watched a bit of tv with Sonny, then headed to bed.

Spent some quality time with sweetie. We stay so busy we don't often take that time to just chill during during the week. It was nice we'll have to kick back more often.

We took the hot rod to Cobb's Mill last night, so of course, we then had to cruise the town. I wish Gary had had this car when he was a teenager!! Maybe he would have gotten cruising out of his system.

I doubt that! I don't think men ever get cruising their hot rod out of their system. I bet he's just wanting to show you off.

We went to Cobb's Mill for dinner and brought home desert, yum!!

My brother came into town last night, so we went to dinner at momma's house, had a few drinks and played Phase 10.

I got way to hot yesterday afternoon and felt pretty yucky. So I crashed early and just watched TV in bed.

Went to the afternoon matinee with daughter yesterday and saw Mamma Mia. If you enjoy musicals, then you'll like this one. Based on a play from the music of the group ABBA. Definitely a trip down memory lane for those who remember ABBA!
There are several really funny scenes, a couple that were touching, and a chance to see actors/actresses in a different light - Pierce Brosnan singing? Meryl Streep in 70's disco clothes? And a surprise twist for Colin Firth.

Nice movie. A feel-good "chick flick" that would be great for a mother-daughter evening or ladies night out. Be warned - if you remember ABBA, the songs will get stuck in your head for hours!

That sounds like fun, Babe. Town was very busy last night, we had to wait a while to get into Cobb's and the motels were pretty full too. We cruised as usual.

Worked on a little job related research. Cleaned the kitchen and laundry. Then went to bed early for a change. Didn't sleep though, so I watched TV.

We stayed home and sat outside in the storm. Lots of thunder and wind, but not much rain. We had KFC for dinner and I fixed some rice and some rolls.
