Tulip, if you fly out of Miami or Ft Lauderdale, you should be able to find direct flights to Chatt. Fort Myers airport where I fly out of, doesn't fly direct to Chatt, and because of that, it costs alot more that flying into Atlanta.

Mine was $75... not too bad since we occasionally had to use the heat last month.
I had 2 no spend days in a row. Good thing since I will have to use the money I haven't spent to fill up my gas tank!

I am paying myself $2 everytime I stay home and use no gas. That is about what it costs me to drive to town and back, a total of 9 miles.

Thank you so much, BB. I checked it out. It is only $69 from Ft. "Liquordale" to Chatt. yipeee!!!!! Glad you found something! If you can pick up the tickets at one of their ticket offices you dont have to pay the "convenience fee" for booking online/on phone. I think it is $11.50 per flight segment, so that would be a real savings ($46) if you buy 2 round trip tickets!

"Smart cars" are selling like crazy here. people are trading in (if they can) their big ole' huge trucks. my neighbor just did that and her truck was only 6 months old! We are seeing a few smart cars around here and lots more hybrids. The car lots are covered up in big trucks!

What makes mine so cheap is that the hot water heater is turned off all the time and everything is so well insulated.
