What makes mine so cheap is that the hot water heater is turned off all the time and everything is so well insulated. I would like one of those tankless water heaters but they are so expensive. I s'pose they pay for themselves eventually with what you save on electricity, but it would take a long time!

You are right, when it is sunny like today, I don't need any lights. I have no curtains, so it is bright in here. The hot water heater makes a big difference.

Well, I did stay home all day yesterday. My husband took his left over sandwich from the builder's appreciation day, for his lunch. I had leftovers too!!

It is impossible to be frugal when you have company. At least you did not have to feed him Friday night. However, Gary said the bar b que sandwich was not good at all.

I just got a $5 pack of bacon for free. It was supposed to be, buy one, get one free, but Ingles policy lets you buy just one, and pay half price. My bacon did not scan that way, so the cashier gave it to me for nothing!! Can't beat free!!

They don't always do that, coosa! I have had it happen! Didn't realize it until I got home, went back in the next day with the receipt and all they did was give me the difference! It was still worth it since it was close to $6! Went to babe's store to get the pepsi products 5 for $11... then to wally world where we spent too much but really got some good buys on what we did buy. Used coupons, too, and saved an additional $8!
