Lets hear your stories about neighbors being past or present that you can't stand.I think yall know about one of my neighbors already but I have another on the other side of me that was a pain.He thought it would be fun to buy himself and his 2 little boy's some dirt bikes and ride them around their property. It wouldn't have botherd me so much if they would only ride them every now and then but this was every day.I finally got sick of it and confronted him,we had our words and he agreed to stop,he said he didn't know it was bothering anyone(yeah right). This was over a year ago and he has stood to his word.We don't talk but I'm glad he stuck to his word.
Lets hear you stories and your experiences with rude neighbor's.

Well, we built the house across the street from us for a 65 year old woman. After she had lived there a month, she let her 16 year old grandson move in with her. His bedroom was on our side of the house (our bedroom) and hers was on the opposite side. She was pretty deaf. He stayed up all night and slept all day. His friends were in and out at 2-4 am almost every night. Plus, he kept the flood lights on all night and they shined right in my husband's face when he was trying to sleep.
We repeatedly asked them to turn off the lights, but as soon as she went to bed, he turned them back on. Finally, my husband went over there when they were gone and unscrewed the light bulbs. He still partied for the next 10 years at night and never had a job.

I've been fortunate, my neighbors are wonderful. We know that we can call on each other if we need anything but other than that we leave one another alone.

my neighbors are far far away thank goodness. but when I lived in NYC I drove my downstairs neighbor nuts because I am an insomniac and a heavy walker - I felt really bad but what could I do? I tried to step lightly.

I tried to step lightly. Congratulations Country for making it out of NYC. This country girl would never want to live there!!! I would be just like you. I am frequently up at different hours of the night working or just not sleeping. Thankfully we insulated our house well so I can bang around all night long while everyone else sleeps away upstairs.

thats an toppic for me, we had them all here in swiss, loud musik & lots of kids, yelling/screaming insane womans with poor hubby, 2 times the police came and they did whake me up sure over 5 times in the middle of night, then steelworking that day is an nightmare as you need sleep! 2 times the police thake her to the insane house & she stay there some days and for gods sake it was quiet! then they moves out, they could go to ... way earlyer.
and india people, as they "cooked" it has smelld all over the place like grilled cat, the rent was payd by the social of city, somehow they got kicked out, again, thanks god.
and prostitutes, next door in the flat! she moved in and she sayd she is an teacher but did not say for what...then put an flower and pot visual outside of her door, right next to ouer door in the apartment flat. we did see that but did not now...yes we say there was an windweel sometimes there so what? but ouer old men that cleans the house had some more experience in that direction, he did see & now. but sayd nothing until his wife was aproached by an next house woman and say hey there, in your flat, no courtains, we see an nude woman and many different men f... around! we where shocked, naive as we where we did see theres alot of men but she is teacher right? the other woman also say, one men at her flat has buy an brand new strong device to have an closer look on whats going on... the pinnacle was that this selfemployed woman trow all teh condoms out of the window in the garden and the men mentioned who cared about the house did mow the grass and got the machine stuck etc... so she was trown out! i did whrite down the story and an swiss newspaper printed it.
right now we has an single mom, men did run of as fast he possibly could, 2 daugthers, say 16 and 11, the oldest is an absolute brat, dont want go to school next to ouer flat, her mom has to watch her and if she dont move she yells all over the distance " now go, go!" but that mom is not an nickel better, as she first appeared here looking for an flat she asked the cleaning woman "is there anything avaliable?" "but cheap, i have no money!" sure the social of the city did pay that rent. and as the woman on top of us requested an bit quietness she yelled back up "shut up b...". sutch an nice lady!!! she earn anytime i see her an look from me as the swiss bureocratics get. saupack! hope they leave soon but 99.9% i leave earlyer.
and on top, other side, is an disasabeled young woman, mental sick or what, with an men, they have an alarmclock, that must be loauder than anything i ever saw, it rings and rings at 5.30 mornings, unbeleavable, did whrite an letter prior i left for usa, its still ringing, will whrite again, that is not acceptable. social pay too, she cant work mutch like how that one looks!
and below, ground level, is an whatever muslim thing, saw them some times, got an feeling like on the ghostride, looked where i have my knife ready.
and the new couple that should clean the house etc, say she cleans and her retired hubby is lazy as anything i ever saw, he hangs around and watch the people, he hangs on the mailbox, litterbox and joust watch and watch. mom and i act like he is invisable.
we have em all, black, indian, muslim, insane, noisy and an few nice swiss like we that has some manners left over.
im only sad that the teacher lady did not rent an flat in the opposite side house LOL!

Poor Roger! Sounds like you certainly have Cabin beat on neighbors. How's the rest of the neighborhood? well, if it would be perfectly legal to shoot them they would be gone fast so it thakes an bit longer until they leave from themself. in an couple minutes, its early morning here, steelworking calling, that "*รง alarmclock will sound off again. need to whrite that paper! all in all, its like an puzzle here, with most pcs are dark to black and not matching so all come together in an big mess and i will emigrate, no other way out. oh and i did not tell about whoever it is that blow trumpet or simmilar horn over on the other side appartmentflat! they blow that thing serveral time and eaven over here its loud as nothing and they play wrong, it hurt your music sense! how loud that must be over there directly in the house? amazing. i should go and stick that horn to the player where no sunshine is! and i also did not tell about that huge dog, i did come back from steelwork say 6 months ago and arrived by the flat, tired as dead, then to my surprise an nice cat came running around the corner as fast she possibly could and you hear the sound of her claws as she cut the corner that fast, running toward me as i was there, the cat was surprised too and i think what the...! but in an milisecond after the cat slightly bypass an huge, huge dog came the verry same way around the corner towards me!! and i love big dogs to the death, i have make an face as maddie surprisehugged me and grab for my knife, the dog instantly stopped as he saw me on the spot, make an line in the grass! then the owner, an joung woman came around the corner and grab the dog. i joust looked at her and shake my head. and and and. no wonder i want leave fast.

i did not explain how the swiss prostitute system worked, she had an flowerpot next to her door with some flowers and an windwheel. as the windwheel was in the pot = she is avaliable, if there is no windwheel = she is busy, come back in an half houer. the seasoned men that cleaned etc the apartementhouse back then did explain to us.
as i did steelwork today i remembered another story of that woman, she was an real schoolteacher, we did check, with some sidebuiseness. as we where told by the next house people, she was frugal and did not wear clothing inside but no courtains too...why in the world sutch never happens where i can watch? LOL.
also after buiseness, she trow out the used condom out of the window and one day, an little boy from next hous found that on the ground, think he had an good luck and find an airballoon & stright try to blow it up....did not work so he did go directly to his mom in the other house and asked her to blow up his new airballoon - she nearly collapsed as she recon what that balloon was & came back to ouer apartmenthouse and make an bad remark.
all tru stories of rude next doors, swisssilvia can proove it!
