Oh,I apologize Laurel! I have been very busy as of late and I didn't realize that you are new. So many come and go, come and go it is hard to discern who's who.
As late as it may be welcome I am glad that you have decided to join the forum. ;D Please do forgive my rudeness and oversight.

okay thanks - I feel better now! I've been lurking here for a long time but never felt like I had much to contribute and then of course all the craziness and now it seems to have settled down so I thought I'd jump in. I've been involved in the other forums for quite a while but this one seems to have fun topics.

thanks - we're the second generation and decided to take the making of the furniture one step further and do finishing also. We've been doing it for 4 years so that ours is now offered unfinished or finished like traditional stores only it's real wood! We had someone in the store the other day and they didn't think it resemebled the store of 5 years ago but I think we've worked hard to keep the feeling of the place true to its history but with a more modern twist. Anyway, you should stop by sometime when you're on the North End!
