I'm thankful that I am a woman, living in America, in 2007 I'm thankful for freedom and choices I'm thankful for love, friendship and family I'm thankful for the nice things I've got and the jobs that I've had and hope to have I'm thankful for health, for doctors and for life expectancy increasing When I win the lottery, which I'll be very thankful for, I'll be glad there are liposuctioners and body rebuilders and good diet meds. For now though I'm thankful for taste buds, because food is yummy, but hugs and love are better and I'm thankful for those!!!!!!!!!

I am most thankful for being home this year. I have missed it for 3 years. I will get to spend the holidays with my family.
I am thankful that I was given the opportunity to learn that I will never take simple things for granted ever again.
I am thankful every day when I rise in the morning - that means I have been blessed to see another day.
I am thankful that I have healthy, wonderful children, all grown and doing just fine.
I am so thankful that I have a warm, caring husband that I love dearly and who really loves me back, even with all of my flaws.
I am thankful that I have a roof over my head, a bite to eat, and clothes on my back.
I am thankful for the soldiers, either in the past, present or future, who have given their time and often their very lives for giving me the freedoms I now have.
I am thankful to be an American citizen and to have all the rights, choices and privileges that come with it. See above.
I am proud to be a Southern citizen. There is no pride like southern pride. We have a corner market on hospitality, graciousness, manners, traditions, sweet tea and turnip greens.
I am thankful for friends who keep me in their thoughts and prayers when I need it, who are inspiring when I need a push, and who are honest with me even when it hurts.
I am thankful that I am able to walk, talk, see, hear, smell and taste the world around me. So many are not as fortunate.
I am thankful for older folks - they give me the hope that I can live that long and they are a wealth of knowledge and life experience.
I am thankful for younger folks -they keep me young and they are our future.
I am thankful for gray hair and wrinkles - they mean I've lived long enough to get them. Laugh lines are caused by...laughing. How bad can that be?
Be thankful, don't forget all the little things, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Invited to the thanksgiving dinner was a neighbor and his daughter from across the street. He said that he really looked at life differently now than he did last thanksgiving. A few months ago, his gas grill exploded and set his entire house and all his vehicles on fire. They were inside the house when it happend and he, his wife and 12 year old daughter escaped with only the clothes on their backs. As a matter of fact, the wife was taking a shower and he went back to get her. so she escaped with only a towel. Now one single thing was saved from the fire.
He said it was times like that, that make you realize what is important in your life!!

Coosa, I know Kim, the wife. She's a sweetie. Things do look differently when you lose everything. Their daughter did manage to grab her cell phone!!

Kim was not there?? I don't know why. All they have left is the concrete walls of the basement. I don't know if they will rebuild or not!
