We'll probably follow our usual tradition and be in bed asleep before midnight. Every year we think about going to the Possum Drop but so often the weather is crummy and we don't want to drive on those back roads then.

I'll be spending the evening with my hubby & kids! We are staying put. I'll also be packing for my trip to Jamaica.

It does seem like the weather has been crumy the last couple of years.... I may venture out & go to the Possum Drop? Has anyone been before? What did you think? Thanks, Avalanche

I'll be spending New Year's on St. Pete Beach, hopefully enjoying a nice balmy evening, watching a beautiful sunset, then seeing the fireworks in the distance... maybe a nice romantic stroll down the beach, digging my toes into the sand... should I go on?

All I know is 7:00 AM on the 1st hubby's flight is leaving for Los Angeles, so we may be in a hotel in Atlanta, or waking up some seriously early time the next morning, so we won't be doing a thing.

No, I'll be working by then I'm sure. He has his father coming here on the 20th and I made him book to leave on the first, so that I don't have company for a few months. His father never leaves, so I made hubby leave with his father so I don't crack up!

Sounds like you will be alone on New year's eve! Glad his father is not staying forever! Maybe when roger moves here, your father in law could become his room mate!! They could live in Helen and go dancing every night together!!
