Well, we have a lot of new members. This board is growing by leaps and bounds.
It took me forever to figure out some of the features on here and they are newbies and have it figured out already.
Makes me feel dumb, or old ;D

I wish we had a Kroger. I've been to the Kroger store in Jasper & it is nice.

Coosa, Publix is nice, but pricey. Their bakery is awesome tho. I shop a lot at Sweetbay and Albertsons.

Coosa, I'd trade all three of those stores for a Harris Teeter. My favorite, when I go to Mooresville, NC.

Coosa, my Mom & Dad lived in Deland, FL during the '80s and early '90s. The Publix in Deland was a great store and that's where they shopped. I have tried the Publix in Gainesville, GA and was disappointed. That's why I voted for Harris Teeter.

I moved to DeLand in the 50's and moved up here in 1984. I don't think I have ever been in a Harris Teeters! Tessa (on this forum) is also from DeLand. We went to the same high school but never met til she came onto the other forum.

Hello honey/queen I thought that I might like to surf on over and coment on your recent post that was brought to my attention. I in no way tried to attack or jump you. I merely responded to your post. I did not bring your mother up it was in your previous post. I did not bring any new topic to the discussion. I only brought to light some things that you were ommiting. On this forum and the other you called me a gossip and a hypocrite. I stated that I called my friend to solidify my memory of the events. We were not gossiping, I was searching for confirmation before I commented to your post in an attempt to prevent the name calling. I am happy to see that all of your forum friends ralleyed around you to support you in what you and they felt to be an attack. It makes me feel better to know that you have friends. I appreciate what Bill had to say in his post. I really did not expect that response from him. However, I totally agree that when you choose to use a forum and begin to make personal comments and say things about others that can be damaging to them, their families, and their reputation you must be prepared to accept rebuttle. I really am OK with the remarks that were made about me on both forums. I am not a hypocrite I do not claim to be anything other than a sinner saved by Grace, who fails and falls short of the grace of God regularly. However, I do strive to be more Christ like. I think that before you react in a negative manner by calling me more names you may want to review at least your posts and what you claim and see how divergent the two are.
