The S.A.F.E. Gala. We decided not to have it this year based on the new Thrift Store being built, wanting a different date due to weather issues we've had the past couple of years, and other factors. We are talking about doing a bigger "Blue Jean Ball" to make up for the loss of the Gala this year though! We just figured that it's better to do it right than have it done 1/2 of what it should be, and have it be safe for everyone on the roads (it's snowed & iced the past couple of years).

It is so hard to plan anything in the winter cause you never know what the weather will be!

I only remember last year being bummed by bad weather. An we still made money........ Don't do away with the dress up affair, it was the only thing we had going in this area.

Is it the fuschia bridesmaid dress with the puffy sleeves?? I'll wear mine too! Mac, it will continue but not this year. We'll just have to find some fancy jean outfits for the blue jean ball!!! Maybe put some diamond rhinestones on them!

OK I ain't got no bridesmaid dress but I got me a sweet potato queen, big ol honking, wedding dress. I can get me a girdle, excuse me, a slimmer and some lard and I might can git it on from when I got married in 1981.

Hey Bee, ya reckon a nice pair of denim over-alls would be proper attire for a Blue Jean Ball?

Maddy, I have a burgandy pouffy one, kinda off the shoulder or I have my lacy county rose one. I'm kinda partial to the pouffy one, so my big hair would match!
I always wanted one of them big ole honkin wedding dresses. I now will have to live through the little princess and hopefully she will pick out a big honkin dress!

Maddy, you can wear the jumpsuit that I wore to the elvis concert in 1977. I weighted about 110 then. We should all go to this bluejean thing! I have blue jeans!!
