OK back to the gym this morning after vacation and lot's of stress.
Several things I have learned;
If I exercise in the morning before work, I feel better all day and do seem to have energy. When I do some sort of exercise on a daily basis, yoga, cardio, dvd, it makes me want a healthier lifestyle and make healthier menu choices.
I use to drink 3-4 cokes a day. Now I don't even drink diet sodas unles there is no option. I use artificil sweetners in my tea and carry flavored water to me with restaurants or when I go to eat. Before changing my eating habits, I could go 5 months and never drink a glass of water and now I drink it constantly. However, I don't drink it plain. My favorite to add is the Crystal Light Cherry Pomegranate. Not to sweet and has a hint of sour, maybe, to it.
So hopefully I am back on track. Had my multigrain oatmeal for breakfast.

Since most people can’t exercise in front of their computers, we created this tool so you can select strength exercises, print illustrations and instructions, and take them with you. Just click the box next to each exercise you want to print, and then click the Print Selected Exercises button at the bottom of the page. www.sparkpeople.com/resource/exercises-printable.asp

Used all of yesterday's negativity to shave some minutes off my morning mile.
You will proably see me on the next Old Saggy Women Gone Wild video for rent at your local nursing home.

I learned a new word yesterday. Butt Gut, it's where your butt has spread around to your belly. Lucky for me my girls hang low enough to distract from mine. I don't have to worry about pasties, someone would have to be on the floor looking up to see them.

Make your favorite quiche filling (use veggies, meats or cheeses, in any combo you like—I like broccoli and onion or ham and broccoli) and grease a mini muffin pan. Fill the cups 3/4 full of the filling and bake until done. Pop them out into a Tupperware or put into Ziploc bags to grab on-the-go. You can heat them in the microwave for a few seconds or I even enjoy them cold!"

I have been very run down & tired lately. Not sure if it is Thyroid related, or I need more B12.

hunny discovered his B-12 was low this past winter. I guess that is a pretty common deficiency.

Yep, BB, I believe that you are right as I have heard of so many taking B-12 supplements. I had been getting a shot every month but we have decided that it is manageable by mouth supplements now. The shots were not bad though since it was such a little needle.

Since my surgery, I have to take b-12 everyday. I get the liquid raspberry flavor from the Vitamin Shoppe.

Is there a noticeable difference when you take B-12? OF course by mouth, I have dread of needles?
To the gym this morning. GRRR it really pushes me for time after I drop red off at school to get to Peachtree. You can't drop them off early because they don't unlock the doors until 7:45. Then it seems it's a conspiracy because e v e r y s l o w d r i v e r on the highway and every school bus gets in front of me.
That's why I only have time for the treadmill in the mornings before work. Of course I can shower and change at the gym and it's only 6-7 minutes form work.
This summer, when school is out, I can get an earlier start. We get 3 visits with a personal trainer and I plan on taking advantage of that. I want to be firm and buff. Actually my goal is to have everything stop moving when I stop and stop the friction sparks from my thighs.
I am eating my multi grain oatmeal with a good dollop of yogurt.
I had put back on a couple of pounds but finally got back down to 155. Into a pair of Levi's, that I was surprised to get in to.
I still have the issue that when i look in the mirror I see a heavy person, the size I was before I started even though I know better and my clothes tell a different story.
Watched Biggest Loser last night and my girl Kelly, the one no one thought would make it, is in the top 3. GO KELLY! good for you. Ali is now the woman i=who has lost the most weight on campus 99 pounds and Kelly has lost 93 pounds.
That is quite an accomplishment since they are up against men and men can drop weight twice as fast as women. For them to be in their last week and to drop double digit numbers is excellent.

Take a walk along any sidewalk: Half the women you pass are waifs; the other half, way beyond curvaceous. At 5 feet 4 inches tall and 163 pounds, the average American woman is 40 pounds heavier and 6 inches shorter than skinny models. It’s obvious that women on both ends of the spectrum don’t always know what’s healthy.

QueenBee - what gym do you go to? My sis-in-laws have been talking about joining Curves, but they don't really know anyone in town ... and I've been trying to figure out how to get them to socialize more ...
