I noticed that there aren't any posts here so thought I would give it a try.
I am not a veteran.
But I am proud of all that are, current and past.
I appreciate what they do and what they have done.
All of them regardless of how long they served or if they were actually involved in a war are brave courageous men and women and deserve all the praise they can get.
They are willing to give it all for their country and me, a stranger.
What more could an American ask for.

My dad and uncles are all World War 2 veterans. I am proud of them and all the others who have served and will serve this country!

A well done parade, not thrown together in haste.
My 4th gr-grandfather died in the War of Northern Aggression and I produced the paperwork and lineage, to get him a headstone placed next to his wife's grave, by the Veterns Admin.

I am glad that Norman Cooper didn't get his way about not having a Memorial Day parade. That is a fitting tribute to all of our deceased veterans.
