We need to keep all the folks in south Georgia in our prayers. The wildfire situation doesn't seem to be improving due to the lack of rain.

They are definitely in my prayers, I hope that we never have to face anything like that here. I'm afraid that if something like that ever got started here it would be very hard to fight with the mountain terrain and the dry vegetation.

Everyone remember to pray for our soldiers this Memorial Day! And for the people who are travelling this weekend, I've seen lots of police out so hopefully they'll catch all the drunk and careless drivers.

God knows your request as I do not, but I do pray for your request as well. I too have quite a few and the Lord knows but the strength of many praying will lift all the prayers higher and higher..

I have a prayer request for a friend who is very overweight and is trying to loose weight by dieting and exercising. It is a tough battle for her as she has been like this most of her life and has decided to make a change for her health and body image.

Please pray for Pat Young's family (Young's Wrecker Service) Pat passed away earlier this morning.

He had been in bad shape for a long time. He'd had a couple of heart attacks and a stroke that took his ability to speak away from him. He was in the nursing home for a while but his health improved enough for him to be able to go back home and be with his family. I can remember when he had the service station across the road from his house, he was always smiling and happy. I had an old Dodge truck that he kept running like new for a long time.

I told my honey... he used to work for him years and years ago... My thoughts are with his family.

They certainly are summerose, they have been very good to me and my family. I slid off an icy road late one night many years ago and Pat and Larry both came up and pulled my truck back to the road and wouldn't let me pay them a dime. I will have to give Opal a call tomorrow, I'm sure she doesn't want to be bothered today.
