Update on my mother...she is doing really good! She's at the rehab center now! I want to thank all of you for the prayers and positive thoughts!!!!!!!!!!  |

Prayers requested yet once again for one of my nighttime managers husbands...the one who had the surgery. Tonight they admitted him into ICU thinking that he may have had a heart attack.

Managers hubby is still in ICU but the good news is that it wasnt a heart attack. It was some kind of reaction to his meds from the surgery. If he doesnt stabilize then they will send to Piedmont Hospital for further testing. Prayers still needed.

My friend's sister-in-law just found out she has cancer. She also has some other health issues too.

Summer, prayers headed that way -
Yesterday about 2:00, I got a call telling me that my sons fiance had been in a 4-wheeler accident and was headed to the ER by rescue squad. I grabbed my purse and my keys and went to get my son from work. He works within walking distance. We had no idea what had happened or how badly she was injured. Needless to say, we were both scared silly.
When we arrived, another family member told us what happened and said the injuries seemed to be a good bump on the head and her right shoulder got hit pretty bad, but that she was conscious and alert, but in a LOT of pain.
When we finally went back to see her, she had been taken to X-Ray for a CT of the head/neck and an x-ray of the right shoulder. Thankfully, both came back ok. She does have a mild concussion and a really bad shoulder sprain. Her arm will be in a sling for a little while, and I know she is going to be so sore for the next few days. She was released around 8pm last night.
I thank God she was not injured worse than she was. Those 4 wheelers can be so very dangerous. Please say a prayer for her. I know she's going to be hurting today.
She has lived with us since last August, and basically, she's like one of my own now. To make a long story short, she does have parents, but has never had a mama or a daddy. When the ambulance arrived, she refused to go anywhere until someone called me. When she was released, her mother wanted her to go home with her. She refused and said she was going home, with "mama".

Glad it worked out Taylor.
My Friend's husband had to be air flighted to Asheville and he is probably giong to lose his leg today in surgery. Please pray for them.
