Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him.

What if Mary had learned that she was pregnant in pro-"choice" America today? She was impoverished, unmarried, and certain to have been socially disgraced. Would it have been ok for her to exercise her "choice" as millions of women do each year? Where would society be if she had?
"Did not He who made me in the womb make him, And the same one fashion us in the womb? (Job 31:15)
Yet Thou art He who didst bring me forth from the womb; Thou didst make me trust when upon my mother's breasts. Upon Thee I was cast from birth; Thou hast been my God from my mother's womb. (Psalms 22:9-10)
For Thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to Thee, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Thy works, And my soul knows it very well. (Psalms 139:13-15)
Thus says the LORD who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you, `Do not fear, O Jacob My servant; And you Jeshurun whom I have chosen. (Isaiah 44:2)
Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, and the one who formed you from the womb, "I, the LORD, am the maker of all things, Stretching out the heavens by Myself, and spreading out the Earth all alone, (Isaiah 44:24)

What if Hitler's mother had learned that she was pregnant in pro-"choice" America today? She was impoverished, unmarried, and certain to have been socially disgraced. Would it have been ok for her to exercise her "choice" as millions of women do each year? Where would society be if she had?
The Bible says it is better to be aborted in the womb than to live an unhappy or wicked life.
Jeremiah 20:14-18 Cursed be the day I was born! the day when my mother bore me, let it not be blessed! Cursed be the man who brought the news to my father, "A son is born to you," making him very glad. Let that man be like the cities which the Lord overthrew without pity; let him hear a cry in the morning and an alarm at noon, because he did not kill me in the womb; so my mother would have been my grave, and her womb for ever great.. Why did I come forth from the womb to see toil and sorrow, and spend my days in shame?
Job 3:16-19 Or why was I not as a hidden untimely birth, as infants that never see the light? There the wicked cease from troubling, and there the weary are at rest. There the prisoners are at ease together; they hear not the voice of the taskmaster. The small and the great are there, and the slave is free from his master.
Ecclesiastes 6:3-5
If a man begets a hundred children, and lives many years, so that the days of his years are many, but he does not enjoy life's good things, and also has no burial, I say that an untimely birth is better off than he. For it comes into vanity and goes into darkness, and in darkness its name is covered; moreover it has not seen the sun or known anything; yet it finds rest rather than he.
And of course the verse most used by Pro-lifers or Anti-Choicers, whichever you choose
Jeremiah 5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Of course not every child is destined to be a great warrior.
Isaiah 44 God was speaking to Jacob about Jacob and Israel.
Psalm 22 is a pity trip.
Job 31 Job is pleading to God.
Psalm 139 is praising God.
However I feel each topic should be kept in it's topic.

If it is right to do it to the baby then it should be right to apply the same act to the mother.

We actually need to leave this out of the Bible verse topic and move it back to where it started.

Wiseoldman here is that "seed" thing again:
Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God” 1 JOHN 3:( Now I wonder if Ted Haggerty was, born of God? You ever heard a preacher preach as if people could quit sinning?

Psalms 37
7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.
8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.

Not a Bible verse, but I have a copy of this for inspiration:
They may see the good you do as self serving, Continue to do good. They may see your generosity as grandstanding, Continue to be generous. They may see your warm and caring nature as a weakness, Continue to be warm and caring. For you see in the end; it is between you and GOD.
It never was between you and them anyway.....
