Yep, I agree that it was a bad decision... some people drive like they are on some sort of race track and don't think about unexpected obstacles being in the way.

Actually BB it was just a plastic can and it had been in the road for a while so I'm sure the person who lost it must feel terrible about now. The driver made a bad decision to drive into oncoming traffic rather than hit the plastic can. He just panicked I guess. Wonder if all the people who saw it in the road but drove on without stopping to move it feel bad?

The only people I know for a fact saw it were passed by this person. But yes, someone should have called 911 as they would probably be hit if they tried to step out on that road when everyone is going 55-70 mph like they do. That's why every day we see several dogs, cats and even a calf hit on that road.
