When I was in school (MANY years ago!) on nights like this I would call the school's weather line every five minutes to see if school was closed the next day. I can still to this day remember the telephone number. A day off of school was like a vacation, now snow mostly makes me grrr because I still have to get up and somehow get to work.

LOL! Short, that reminds me of when I was in school, my mom was the secretary of the BOE super & he'd call us first before letting anyone else know that we weren't having school that day! Those were the good ole' days!

I remember those days short and still remember the phone number too! lol!
The bad part about being out back then was we had to use Saturdays as make up days...that was NO fun.

GRRR Got a call around 5:15 AM that there's no school today due to inclement weather. Looked outside and there's barely a thing on the ground. Guess teenager will be puter hawgin today. Turned off the alarm so at least we can sleep later than usual.
