It doesn't affect me that much because my job requires little travel, but it ticks me off that those of us who try and make an honest living are getting screwed by the big oil tycoons.

I have no choice, I have to work and I can't carpool, take the bus, or walk. It's too far.

It's now under $3/gal at most places around town. We should be glad that we don't live in Beaver Island, MI. it is $4.52/gal.

It looks like our average is $2.97/gallon which is below the national average of $3.09. People who travel in Daleville, VA are fortunate because they're paying $2.69/gal. It is unusual for Michigan to have the highest price of $4.51, usually it's either CA or Hawaii that has the highest.

Shortcircuit, I am soo thankful that gas can be got for under 3 bucks arent you? Absolutely, after Katrina when the price went up so high I swore that I would never pay over $3 a gallon for gas but a few weeks ago I had to. I would really be thankful if it went back to under $2 per gallon but I doubt that will ever happen again.

I'm afraid the days of when gas was under $2 per gallon is a thing of the past that will never happen again.
