Oh, if I never had to rip out rows, I probably could have made a dozen or more afgans by now! At least it was only 3 rows and not 13!

When I first moved up here, I tried to piece a quilt... got frustrated that all my corners were not exactly lined up right and put it down...haven't touched it since! I used to do ceramics in FL and made lots of really cool stuff. I see were there is a ceramics place in Murphy that I might check out if I ever have the time. I have done lots of counted cross stitch, but really need to get some new glasses if I start it up again. Looks like I will be getting one of those knitting machines in the newar future, so I will have something new to try! Used to paint and draw; actually sold some stuff ages ago, but haven't done much lately. I made one of those sock monkeys and thought I would make more to sell, but that idea has been on the back burner for a year or so.

I made something very cool tonight. Have you seen those large glass blocks filled with tiny lights and wrapped in a bow? I made one with the white lights and blue & gold bow. If I had more time I could probably sell them. I copied it from one I saw at a friends house. Used to do stained glass windows and lamps but got tired of having cuts on my fingers. Gave away all my supplies and glass. That was a very addictive (and expensive) craft. In my younger days it was needlepoint before the home computer age. My eyes get too tired now.

Tulip, I took a couple of pictures with my cell phone this morning but I have a very sick dog and have been at the vet all a.m. Must take her home. If I can figure out how to post them tonight, we will see. You can google lighted glass boxes but I couldn't find any as pretty as mine. Must take my little girl home and nurse her back to health.

Those glass blocks usually sell for $25.00 and up at craft shows. I paint on them and give them for gifts as night lights.
Lilred has expressed an interest in sewing so for Christmas she is getting a box of scrap material, the extra's they sell at Wal-mart and we are going to start out sewing pillows.
I myself will be making raggy quilts to use up my material stash that I have.
I love making the no sew fleece blankets that you tie together on the sides.

Just doing my job, (making folks feel guilty).
I did some on edging on a baby blanket last night. Seems there will be some distant cousins in the future and now that the rush is over until Spring. I can catch up a little.

My daughter in law called to tell me she liked the throw I made for them for Christmas and want's a king sized one for their bed.
I LAUGHED.
I then explained I started the throw in January when I new they were getting married in June and they finally got it as a Christmas present. It would be 2 Christmases from now before they would get one that big.

I have another use for my lighted hook.
The light seemed dim last night in the den so I used it to read my magazine.
Black afghans, boy she just loved you.

I watched the Patriots game too, when we got back and worked on the edging of the baby blanket and then switched over to a scarf when I got bored with that.

Bring it when you move up here. It's cold and rainy, so after church I made chili, rice and seasoned oyster crackers.

Hopefully it will snow before April this year. April snows are bad on my wildflower honey crop.
