Finished the edging on a boy's fleece blanket with an applique.
Will crochet a matching hat for a baby gift for a cousin due in June.

I wished, I am trying to get caught up on my painted items.

Went to Joann's when I was in St. Pete and got "puh-ple" yarn for hunny's granddaughter's afghan. Started it on the trip home yesterday. 10 rows done, 112 to go!

Good BB, until you mis-count and have to pull out 2 rows, then it will be 114 to go.

dark "puh-ple".... her 2nd favorite is pink, but I haven't used "puh-ple" in a while and thought the change was good for me! I get tired of looking at the same colors all the time!
Joann's had the yarn on sale, too! A pound for $4.99. It will take less than 3 skeins, so that is a good price for an afghan that is just about right for a full size bed! Her birthday is in August, so I have plenty of time to get it done.

bb, i am an August child that is why is said that. just patting myself on the back....... don't want you to think i was being smitey. lol LOL, I was wondering about all the "other months" children... This little one can be a handful for mom and dad but so far no problems for papaw and me! She thinks I am her playmate and loves to come to my house.

I never got around to making the divinity someone asked for at Christmas. Since it was so humid and damp those last few days before Christmas (has to be pretty dry for it to set up right), coupled with how busy I was anyway, it just didn't get done ... he told me February would be fine, lol... I will have to get some time to make it for him, though... We still have a few Christmas goodies left that hunny and I have been munching on now and then. Fresh baked, right out of the oven are the best, though!

Bee, you mentioned that you also make the lighted glass boxes. I bought a box when I was on vacation, then didn't like the way the lights looked so bought the correct ones (several sets) and now can't find the glass here at Home Depot. Do you buy yours at Lowes? I haven't tried them. If not, where can you buy them locally?

I got mine from a frined whose husband does AC/Heat repair. They were in a pile to be taken to the dump. THe homeowners were redoning the bathroom.
I believe you can get tham at Lowe's. THey would be in the bath section.

Hey Tulip & BB,
Got my 2 Herrschners catalogs in the mail this weekend and they have some cool looking stuff.
I have dog eared a couple of pages that have patterns I might try to copy, trying not to order them, so I am looking for them online for free.
I also keep a couple to use for color ideas that go together really well. Like one I found that is simple and has different shades of purple.

I just exalted you. Ignore the person smiting you, they just don't know the real you.
I promise it's not someone on the craft list that is doing it.
Us crafters have to stick together.
What project are you doing with the machine?

I wanted to learn, bought books, yarn and all the rest but used to work too much and came home to crash. I think I still have a bag somewhere that is about 20 years old with enough cream color yarn to make an afghan.
