From working the craft shows this fall it seems that the economy has really slowed down. People don't have the money for gas, bills adn luxuries. There just wasn't the turn out that there usually is.

Accepts eddie's nomination for commisar. Send donations to BUBBA, GENERAL DELIVERY, BLAIRSVILLE GA. 30514. I will accept all money and votes from mostly anyone with the exception of a few. If I get a vote from the few, I will decline their vote unless it puts me over the top. I will however keep their donations as a gesture of their goodwill. I will use their money to keep the Government Corporation afloat and prevent citizens from voting. I will also raise your taxes till you have to take a minimum of 3 jobs or become bank robbers. VOTE FOR BUBBA.

I can tell you from firsthand experience that at least our local economy is really slowing. I talk to lots of local business owners and managers as part of my job. Several independent merchants are cutting inventory and taking a loss on other things to clear out their excess. If this continues we're going to see lots of foreclosures and reposessions.

ok-The vote is over, we fought a good fight but lost, so this is absolutely my last post on the subject. What's strange is the total vote count was less than the student population of the county. minority rules! THANK YOU ADMIN FOR ALLOWING THE DISCUSSION.

There you go greed at it's finest. Screw the taxpayers. I surely don't want to hear anymore whining about the cost of living and taxes from those of you who voted YES.

So I guess all of you who voted yes will stop whining about your taxes and the cost of living when this money pit has to be paid for by someone.
The part timers are headed back to Florida where it's warmer.
TOURIST SEASON IS OVER! They aren't paying for it.
SORGHUM FESTIVAL ATTENDANCE HAS DROPPED! The tourist aren't coming.
Maybe Wal-mart will come and save the town. I doubt it.
Just remember you reap what you sow.

Instead of focusing on whats being built, look at who is selling it to them and at what price.

You Folks should spend some time over on the Diebold thread and try to comprehend. Now moonie-- This here is from Princeton University so, it should be creditable: Security Analysis of the Diebold AccuVote-TS Voting MachineAriel J. Feldman, J. Alex Halderman, and Edward W. Felten Abstract This paper presents a fully independent security study of a Diebold AccuVote-TS voting machine, including its hardware and software. We obtained the machine from a private party. Analysis of the machine, in light of real election procedures, shows that it is vulnerable to extremely serious attacks. For example, an attacker who gets physical access to a machine or its removable memory card for as little as one minute could install malicious code; malicious code on a machine could steal votes undetectably, modifying all records, logs, and counters to be consistent with the fraudulent vote count it creates. An attacker could also create malicious code that spreads automatically and silently from machine to machine during normal election activities — a voting-machine virus. We have constructed working demonstrations of these attacks in our lab. Mitigating these threats will require changes to the voting machine's hardware and software and the adoption of more rigorous election procedures. .pdf file copy of the complete report found here: itpolicy.princeton.edu/voting/ts-paper.pdfNow you see the splost vote is fraudulent and it will take more hell raising than than a few can produce to get something done about it. If any of you have influance with Secretary of State Karen Handel tell she lies just like Lie mar and her actions are calling these Princton University folks liars.
