Due to a recent post in the News section, we wanted to find a moderator for that section. Justin Melick was the obvious choice I think. We were surprised that he was willing to do it. We have made him the moderator of the News and Humor sections. www.blairsvillecity.com/moderators.htm |

I know what you mean Bee, we have the Marshall, the Rev. the Admin. now Justin... kinda seems like overkill!
It just isn't fun to play in this playground anymore!

Me too! But, actually they just said to post content periodically. I said I'd try although I don't have time. It's certainly not about regulating anyone. Moderator is a bad term.
I didn't want those stars and what a bad picture. But, I guess it is something to be up there with the Marshal. : )

Most forums have a moderator for each section. And they delete lots of posts. We have never yet deleted someone's post!
But there have been many instances when members have had questions, technical issues, things they wanted done, and the mods allow us to address them more quickly. This forum is growing and none of us get paid!!!

The moderaters just make things interesting. That's obviously their purpose. They either make us laugh or inspire us with Bible verses.
If you had looked at the new moderaters new posts, you could have seen that!
