RC101, I'm working on seeing who is for fair tax. So far, the Republicans are behind it according to the web sites I have visited. I'm working on putting contact links on UCIS. Maybe if we all email them, they will get the message.
I've signed up for email notifications for information in general, but I'm having some problems with email here and I haven't had time to fix it.

VIDEO: CNN hosts shocked when Republican guest picks Ron Paul Published on Sunday, August 26, 2007.
Source: RawStory Rick Sanchez and Kiran Chetry appear not to expect the answer they got from a Republican college student on a special "College Week" edition of CNN's American Morning. (Article Continues Below) Rick Sanchez and Kiran Chetry appear not to expect the answer they got from a Republican college student on a special "College Week" edition of CNN's American Morning. Laura Elizabeth Morales, a Republican and a junior at the University of Texas appears with Rachel Moore, Democrat and a senior at Lebanon Valley College in Pennsylvania.
On being asked who she thinks the GOP candidate will be for the 2008 Presidential election, Morales puts her support behind Texas Congressman Ron Paul.
"I really think he's a sound traditional conservative," says Morales. "I really think he really sticks to the Constitution, and really stands for what conservatives believe in."
A surprised Sanchez asks: "What are you trying to say?"
Chetry follows up to ask if there is any, as she puts it, 'top tier' GOP candidate that Morales would support because, she says, "if I was a betting woman I'd say Ron Paul doesn't have a chance, unfortunately for you."
Chetry asks if there is a "lack of enthusiasm" over the 'top tier' GOP candidate.
"Having been the idealistic betting candidate," says Morales, "I'd say Ron Paul's got the chance. Idealistically. As far as the 'top tier' candidates, I don't really think they stand for what traditional conservatives believe in.
You've got Giuliani out there, who's really an anti-gun Republican who's going to lose a strong base, especially here in the South. And then Mitt Romney kind of flip-flops on his issues. John McCain, I think, is pretty much just 'out,' but we really need a strong, solid conservative..."
Democrat Rachel Moore weighs in for her side: "It doesn't really matter who gets the ticket because anybody could be a better president than President Bush at this point, and let's focus on just a Democrat winning in 2008, and put aside everything pre-primary politics."
"That's not the question," interjects Sanchez. "If you had to pick somebody, who would you pick?"
"I'd pick a Democrat," responds Moore, to the hosts' amazement. "Let's face it..."
"You're going to make a great senator one day," quips Sanchez.
"All of the College Democrats," says Moore, "we're so behind just winning a Democrat in 2008. If you look at all the Republican candidates -- the Democrats are such a diverse group, and all the Republican candidates -- every one of them, they've said they'd commute Scooter Libby, they said they would stay in Iraq and turn it into the next Korea..."
Sanchz follows up: "If it was Porky Pig, would you vote for him just because he's a Democrat?"
"Now, that's taking it a little far," says Moore.
Sanchez: "So you do consider who the person is, right?"
"I didn't say that, sir," says Moore.
"It's time for a Democrat to win. Let's focus on that first."
Moving on to the "most important issue," Morales brings up Social Security, saying that her generation stands to be robbed of funds currently being put into the government, and that the issue needs to be at the forefront of the 2008 election.
Moore says she stands with the Democrats on the environment, student aid, and universal health care, "among other things."
"We really can't be pegged to one issue at this point. We're so educated and ready to go."
"You can't nail her down this morning," says Chetry of Moore, citing "interesting perspectives" from the guests.

Oh!-1. Thank you for your kind words. I wish for someone decent and honest. Someone who would respect the laws, A Godly person.
People don't vote for some one they don't like. A candidate needs to be a likable Person.
I remember Big Jim Folsom a governor in Alabama. He had a bucket and mop as campaign props and in his stump speach said, I'm going to clean up that mess. He said , yeah I'll steal from you but, I'll steal less than they will. He made a pretty good governor. I don't like Lie mar. I don't like lies. A man should do what he says he will.

Gage County State of Nebraska SWORN STATEMENT I, Clarence Douglas Malcolm, a private criminal investigator, working with retired FBI Division Chief, Ted L. Gunderson [ ">www.tedgunderson.com] hereby swear under penalty of perjury pursuant to the laws of the State of Nebraska and the United States of America that I have obtained personal and imputed knowledge that known and yet unknown owners, executives and employees in the established mainstream media including but not limited to ABC, MSNBC, FOX, CNN, CBS, The Los Angeles Times, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Time Magazine, The Chicago Tribune, The Miami Herald and The San Diego Herald-Tribune and, in fact, nearly all (if not all) news sources which have become monopolized by a few wealthy class individuals who are intentionally and with evil intent acting as co-conspirators in perpetrating crime and the unlawful censorship of Dr. Ron Paul; and, these same individuals are participating in an illegal conspiracy rising to the level of RICO to control the outcome of the 2008 Presidential Elections. The level of felony crime, corruption and conspiracy victimizing Dr. Ron Paul and the America people in these 2008 Presidential event is unprecedented in the history of the United States and needs to be investigated and prosecuted without further delay. Debating Ron Paul -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- By JB Williams Aug 29, 2007
Ron Paul supporters are fast making a name for themselves on the web. Not because they are just web savvy, but because they have proven themselves to be the best at hacking on-line polls, invalidating conservative polling data on behalf of their candidate. It seems that even Democrat 527 MoveOn.org is now onboard the Ron Paul anti-war train. Debating Ron Paul
Despite the fact that presidential candidate Ron Paul can not score better than 3% in any legitimate national poll, his supporters claim he is “the conservative” candidate to beat in the 2008 Republican race for the White House. Despite his less than conservative voting record in congress and his Teddy Kennedy like position on the war on terror in Iraq, his supporters think he is the most “conservative” candidate in the race. How?

I can keep going, but you can go look for yourself if you need more information. I think this is more than enough to explain why liberal Democrats are supporting Ron Paul for President. He’s better aligned with their thinking than either Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.
It’s true that he voted correctly several times throughout his lengthy political career too. But then, so has Hillary and Teddy. Paul is telling folks that he has never voted against Americans best interests, to paraphrase. Does that look true above?
The question is - why are some self-styled Republicans supporting him and why are they willing to adopt the liberal practice of manipulating on-line polls and trashing other conservative candidates in order to promote what is clearly not a conservative candidate?
In 1992, a similar set of events were underway, both liberal-tarian Republicans with an isolationist national security outlook and a desire to end all federal spending not aimed at benefiting them personally, worked together with liberal Democrats who shared those same “all about me” values to promote a third party candidate named Ross Perot. Together, they seated President Bill Clinton with less than 47% of the popular vote, against the will of more than 53% of voters.
***
A friend and fellow writer recently pointed out that libertarians are actually just social liberals who don’t want any of their money used to fund the natural consequences of a socially liberal society. They pretend to be conservatives, when all they really are is money conscious liberals with an isolationist view of the world they live in.
Ron Paul provides a perfect example. Like Ross Perot, the notion of ending all “unconstitutional” international spending and reducing taxes is appealing to both liberals and libertarians. Withdrawing from the world for monetary reasons might prove to be deadly, but it will result in temporary reduced spending and eventually lower taxes and that is the real goal.
Ron Paul claims to be Americas “constitutionalist.” I’m a constitutionalist, a strong supporter of the American ideals so carefully crafted by our founders more than 200 years ago. So, why am I at odds with Ron Paul?
First, he’s not a constitutionalist, except when it serves his political agenda which is that of an isolationist liberal-tarian, not a conservative. When he is playing constitutionalist, as in the case of the war on terror (specifically in Iraq), he is a foolish constitutionalist. He claims that the constitution somehow prevents us from protecting our national security interests abroad. He also fails to recognize that the national security threats are much different today, as compared to those present in 1776.
***
He has recently stated that America should have “declared war” before going into Iraq, and I agree. But in October of 2002, March of 2004 and June of 2006, he voted against such a notion. He has claimed that the Hussein regime posed no national security threat to America, despite the many efforts by the Hussein regime to specifically threaten America over the years. He also ignores the fact that congress has failed to “declare war” in ever military action since WWII, though they authorized military action in every case except Kosovo under Clinton.
Ron Paul uses the pieces of the constitution that serve his political agenda, while overlooking the fundamental concepts throughout our founding documents, a right to Life, Liberty, pursuit of Happiness, security, sovereignty, morality, public decency and personal freedom.
So again, why are some Republicans willing to use extreme tactics like poll manipulation and fellow conservative candidate bashing in order to promote such a liberal candidate?
It’s easy to figure out why liberal Democrats are supporting Ron Paul. He’s anti-war, pro- marijuana, pro- gay rights and abortion under the guise of “privacy”, pro- gun control, anti-trade and an isolationist who believes that America is the bad guy around the globe, rather than the generous beacon of freedom that has liberated more people than all other nations combined. He is a liberal of the blame America first, last and often sort. He is perfect for liberals who believe in all the same things… Only Cindy Sheehan or Jane Fonda can draw a bigger anti-war crowd.
***
Now try explaining why any Republicans support him? When you are through studying the views of his supporters, you will find that they have two common values, a strong anti-war isolationist view of world events and a deep love of their money.
At the end of the day, Ron Paul supporters on both sides of the political aisle are driven by only two beliefs and one motivating factor. They are anti-war because they are anti-tax. They do not look beyond the agenda to reduce or eliminate taxes to see the consequences of the decisions they make. They would bring the war on terror abroad right to our own doorstep to save a few tax dollars and that allows Ron Paul to appeal to anti-war voters from the far left and the far right.
Thankfully, he has never appealed to more than 3% in any legitimate national poll. Sadly, his supporters will continue attacking all real conservatives and manipulating all on-line polls to cause further confusion and divisions among conservative voters.
***
The DNC is working behind the scenes to make him the Ross Perot of 2008, because no Democrat candidate can win unless the conservative vote is divided. Hillary Clinton can not get 50% of the vote in a general election and Barack Obama can not get even 40%. Republicans must be divided for Democrats to win.
That’s what the Ron Paul campaign is all about… Just my opinion of course.

I'm sorry for my long post, but I gotta say it. Why just use use a few words when there are so many? I couldn't get may spell check to work for some reason, so, I may have mispallleda a wurd or twoo. Anyway, it takes a very norrow mind just to figure out one way to spell a word. Anyway, this is what I want to talk about. I'm madder than RC101 is at Oscarboo. Holy Horseaqueezins, Batman!!! Heaven help us. Sombody's Gotta Say it!!! Shoot a monkey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Did you ever notice Ron Paul is not on the FairTax bandwagon... I wonder why? NOT!!! Sometimeman, I agree with you. Those donkeyphants do have two butts. I have seen the light. Do the Math! The rate of a national sales tax would be colossal. Those lying Big Dogs are trying the hood wink us again! I got to thinking about FairTax and put it into my spread sheet. I don't own a calculator anymore. You can design an airplane with Excel spreadsheet. 23.0769231 percent is deceptive and beside it is a lie, lie, lie, lie, lie, sometimeman. Did I tell you it is a lie? Remember, even the proponents admit they'd need a 23 percent tax rate to fund the current size of the federal government. However, they are starting out their new “fair” tax system with highly deceptive language. FAIR AND MINIMUM TAX!!!!! You are killing me! H.R. 25, Section 101(b)(1) states “FOR 2005- In the calendar year 2005, the rate of tax is 23 percent of the gross payments for the taxable property or service.” Note the phrase “of the gross payment.” It is a national sales tax. Normally you would think that $23 dollars is 23% of $100. RIGHT!!! That's what they taught me in the Union County government school. It is really 30 percent and that's just the first year. You know them two butt donkeyphants are gonna raise it. Here's how it works: You buy a candy bar for a total price, including tax, of $1.30. One dollar of that price pays for the candy bar, $.30 goes to the federal government. Are you still with me sometimer Don't ZZZZzzzz on me. One dollar purchase + $.30 in tax sounds like 30 percent to you and me (and to every state that currently has a sales tax). But the “FairTaxers” don't calculate it that way. They say: $1.30 total price. $.30 = 23 percent of $1.30, therefore the tax is 23 percent. Many critics have pointed out that this is a deceptive way to calculate a sales tax. AFT rebuts the critics by saying (we paraphrase for simplicity), “If you made $1.30 in income and paid $.30 of it in tax, you'd call it a 23 percent tax rate.” The 23 percent figure is what AFT refers to as the “tax inclusive” rate. Those Rectal A. Simpletons with two rectums are at it again. They lie, lie, lie. Bull squizzens! But a sales tax is not an income tax, and when we see national sales tax advocates and uncritical journalists promoting the 23 percent figure without giving the underlying explanation, we can only think that some very thick wool is being pulled over people's eyes. I ask the advocats of "Fair and Minimum" tax again what the hell do you mean by your fair tax? Quit trying to pull the wool over me and sometime's eyes. We got sense. Convicted felons can't run for office. When I get to be commisshioner, no president, I'm gonna make a law that says only felons convicted for theft by taking can run for government office. At least you would know if they are dishonest from the get go. Realitycheck101 do some good praying for me !!! www.sheepcomics.com/strips/tencom/tencom.htm

Mike Huckabee is the right candidate, not Ron Paul. Ron will be in it to the end, and despite surprisingly strong conservative credentials, will not win because he has become the Republican anti-war candidate.
Everybody who knows about him, likes Mike. Even Democrats and Liberals. That is because he is Republican but no angry about it as he says.
And Huckabee was the first to support the fairtax in the GOP debates.
