You may think your phantom candidate is the best thing since sliced bread. You are keeping the candidate a secret and you want us (the voters) to think you are serious. Get outta here! Oscar, I not only think you are an idiot, you and your kind prove it by your very words. What's even more ridiculous, you think you are being smart. When will you or your phantom candidate ever listen to the voters?  The last time I looked, I still have my self evident rights that are protected under the Constitution of the United States of America and its amendments. See ya later oscargater. Fat ape and fat boy ; This is not my web site and I only know little of one of the gentlemen planning to run thus far . What I do know is he is a fair and honest man who will treat either of you two fat boys the same as me or anyone else . He will show no favoritism for anyone . That speaks volumes for the man . He is not my candidate , although he is my choice at the present time . He is his own man . As I have said before , the two of you need to let well enough be .

Pugs, I like your new avatar. You may want to set 100 pixels wide by 50 high instead of 100 by 100 and it will look more like the original Georgia Girl on photo buckets. That way, Oscarwho won't be as confused about your gender, pugs girl.

The republican candidate wrote, "I know I will be attacked and ridiculed, but God’s grace is sufficient." I'm sure Lamar feels the same way.
What do you the posters think? Would the candicate be attacked and ridiculed? Who would attack him/her?
I don't think anyone will be able to cut taxes drastically. I think anyone who gets into office is going to have a hard time. They will have to figure out what to cut out of the budget, making people mad. They will have to keep the county law enforcement from spending money.
If Lamar is replaced, his replacement will be attacked by the same people who attack Lamar. No matter how "good" he or she is, there will be a lot of people who will never support government. You may have all the people who want to help "run the government by committee" before the election, but that won't last very long.
I'm not sure any one commish can get a lot more industry here. What we need is a super salesman to replace Tom Murphy. It seems that there is a lot of energy expended keeping business out of the county by the special interest groups. Case in point, the resort.
It sounds good to bid on jobs, but you can't make decisions on price alone. When a new commish makes a decision on who can do the job and it is not the lowest bidder, it will be the same old crap. The commish lied. The commish is a theif. The commish is a big spender.
As far as the corruption that keeps business out, I wish someone would explain what the corruption is...all I hear is that there is corruption. It doesn't mean a thing, unless you can give real examples.

I've been sitting over in the Lamar Paris thread wondering why no ones posting there. Now I know why, the most famous pair of the commish's supporters are in here bashing the elephants as usual. Most famous pair being the attack dogs of the commish. You know who you are, I ain't calling names.

I've been sitting over in the Lamar Paris thread wondering why no ones posting there. Now I know why, the most famous pair of the commish's supporters are in here bashing the elephants as usual. Most famous pair being the attack dogs of the commish. You know who you are, I ain't calling names.  Talking about me bubba I'm not trashing anyone, seems to me your own party is doing a fine job on their own, check out the posts from the republican party if they had a shovel they couldn't bury the phantom candidate any deeper. Besides who said I was a democrat?
