Is this person trying to appealing to the soap-watching, Days of Our Lives vote?
This is ridiculous. No one is going to take that person seriously. It doesn't matter how primed Lamar is for a defeat, it won't be by a Republican candidate because you people pull crazy **** like this out of your @$$es.

What is your problem Omik ? What has got you so upset ? You surely cant know who the person is or what the person stands for or how the campaign will be run . How are you so sure the person will lose ? Why don't you post some reasons why we should vote for LIEMAR ?

Justin Wight and Omick ; You are wrong saying the republican party is supporting anyone at this time . The party does not know as of yet who is , or is not going to run . Leave the Republican Party out of your insults . Who else is going to run on the democrat ticket beside Tony Dyer ? Most of the democrats are sick of Liemar . The dislike of Liemar and Justin Lewis Wight should get anybody but those two elected .

Its my understanding that someone is also planning to oppose J.W. payne as well as Charles Jenkins but they have not officially announced their intent. Do you wish to attack them also?
Has Tony Dyer officially announced his candidancy and if not, do you wish to attack him also? Bottom line, its' their choice, their name, their future, and their money. I think that we owe it to them all (Dem. Rep. or Ind.) to respect their wishes regarding when and if they announce. We will all know the total of just who is running for what by the last day of quailfing and not before. It seems that there is plenty of time for attacking after that day. To attack an unknown person or persons now could only show your ignorance and lack of respect or perhaps your undying and eternal love of Liemar.

Very well said Eddie. I'm sure JW will want to run "just one more time" just like always. I've got nothing against him but informed voters are getting tired of hearing him say that every election. If a decent candidate runs against Charles Jenkins he will be history, last time his majority in Union county is all that got him reelected and that likely won't happen this time. It's no secret that Liemar has got his eye on Jenkins' job, that way he can screw even more people.

Omikkron, that's very interesting coming from an anonymous poster. We don't see you standing up publicly. Everyone wants to send someone else out to charge the battle lines. It is very early and as soon as the candidate(s) announce, they will be viciously attacked. I will say they must have someone pretty good to be able to run the campaign like they are.

Seems to me that it is the website that came up with "The Phantom Candidate" thing. All that the speech says is that there is a candidate who will announce at a later time. Even so, Omik, I would much prefer a little drama to a bunch of cussing. Profanity we've heard before, drama at least is something new for this town.

Only if the candidate has announced. I have the feeling that he won't be very much of a phantom once he announces. Afterall look how much people are talking about him and they don't even know who he is.
I would not say anything bad about someone if I didn't even know who I was talking about.
But we have on record that Omikkron and Pugs have predicted that the Phantom Candidate will lose. Time will reveal the strength of their perceptive powers.

Ommikron, how long have you lived here? I have to say that I would never vote for a Republican but the current candidate invisible as he may be is an improvement. At least he seems to have some culture and perhaps a sense of humor unlike the last GOP candidate. I like different. Politics as usual, is politics as usual. Nobody wants that anymore.

Why does the political process have to be attacks and counter attacks? It is insulting to the intelligence of the rational republicans and intelligent voters of Union County, and I for one am sick of it. We are not longer in the uneducated backwoods hillbillies. So, stop playing games.
