Cause he's a secret weapon? and may decide to remain secret. I think the idea of a no-name commish would be great. One who no one could make fun of the shape of his head. On the serious side-This website gave him, or her, the name Phantom. I understand the person considering running for the job thinks it's a little too early to announce and I think it's too early also. Why overload the voters this early? there's plenty of time till next year. Not like there's a whole lot of ground to cover. We seem to be overloaded in here.

Harold Cook is thinking about running as well as some others . Mr. cook tells me that almost every day some one ask him to run against Liemar and many of the ones asking are DEMOCRATS .

I agree with you for a change, Pugs. I'd vote for a Phantom before Harold. Not because he's a bad person, but how many times do you have to lose to get the message. And how can anyone be so silly as to not realize that the only reason the Dems are asking you to run are either:
1. They don't know anything about the Republican Party and assume that Harold is the only possilble person who would run.
OR
2. Because they support Lamar and want Harold with his recycled yard signs and insomniac curing speeches, to run so he can be thrashed again.

What I hear you saying, wranger, is that if there is a choice between Harold and Lamar, the voters will choose Lamar. That sounds like a great dem strategy to me, wranger. Those dempublicans of UC are pretty smart!

What I am laughing about wrangler and ape is the fact the local voters are pissed off with this phantom candidate strategy, if the GOP doesn't trust them to say who their candidate is they will get their own and if their candidate doesn't win they are going to vote for Lamar rather than someone that doesn't have any confidence in them or their party...wake up GOP your dealing with small town politics not big city politics you better unite your party a hand shake around here is as good as a contract with most people you keep them in the dark on GOP candidate they won't vote for him/her just because of the way they are being treated. No, I'd still vote for Harold over Lamar, as would a lot of people. And the only angry voters I've run into are angry at Lamar.
