Tomorrow, Sat. March 24th, 2007, The Union County GOP will hold its County Convention at the House Of Prayer Family Life Center (at rear entrance of large building behind the church). Chuck Honaker is seeking to be elected County Party Chairman. I have come to know Chuck very well and I can assure you that not a finer candidate for this important position can be found. Many of you may know or have heard of Chuck previously. He is a member of The House of Prayer, served 15 years in the Army, received a Purple Heart from wounds received in a roadside bomb attack (this was the same attack that killed his close friend Bobby Franklin from Mineral Bluff) while in Iraq fighting the War On Terror and is now medically retired, he is a member of the North Ga. Honor Guard, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Disabled American Veterans, works with the Wednesday Night Kids Program at The House of Prayer, and The Good News Club After School Program (U.C. School System). Chuck is a native Union Countian, His father is Pastor Bill Honaker, mother Bobbie Honaker, and he is married to Barbara Honaker. As you can readilly see, this devout Christain and patriot has done and is doing many good things for all of us to make this a better community. I am now asking all of you to help him to prevail in winning this election by coming to this convention in support of Chuck and his agenda. Its very little to ask considering what he has done for you. You need to be there at 8:00-8:15 AM Eddie Woodliff, Current UCRP Chairman

I have held off posting on here because people already think I own the site as if I have time. Its probably because of that stupid guy on the frontpage. Also I wanted to see what direction the site would take, but they seem to be doing a fair job of reporting county issues. When I saw this thread, I had to post to support Chuck. He is a great man and will be great for the county and the Republican Party. He is a proven leader and a man of integrity. Some of you may have seen that ad in the paper by a non county party member about bringing integrity to the local party. We've had it since the current chairman was elected and it is set to continue with Chuck as the new chairman. Come out and support him.
[Another reason I decided to post was because they posted the video of the commission meeting I sent them.]

You wish you owned this fine site!!!! Then again if you did you would have to buy $25 worth of Griddle Food for Honeybee. Would you like to buy the site for $10? Not really... -Admin

I want to personally thank all who came out and supported Chuck and the Union GOP Sat. I know that they all had other things that they would rather have been doing, especially with this beautiful weather we've had lately. But know this, your time given we be well rewarded. Chuck and his family have been and will continue to be tremoundous asset to the Party and I look forward to helping Chuck in any way that I can in taking the Party further. I do not have a total head count as yet, but without question, it was a record turnout. Once again, Thank you all. And something of extremely significant note, a milestone, in my opinion: For many years, this bi-annual convention has resulted in a complete turnover. As i call it "The party changes hands," new people come in and the previous ones leave, never to return. This has always resulted in the Party starting over rather than growing, as it should. This usually occurs due to one or more individuals with an agenda to promote themselves by "taking over." Though one undesireable tried this again Sat. for the same selfish reasons, it did not happen. We prevailed intact and without division. This is verification that we are finally united. For this, I am most grateful and looking forward to the future. Congratulations Chuck!

I want to thank you all for the kind words that have been posted. It was truly humbling to see that many people at the convention who were there to support me. It did not happen without months of preparation by many people who sacrificed their time. I owe you all a debt of gratitude. I believe that the best way to repay that debt is by doing the best possible job that I can, and that is what I intend to do. There is much work to be done. I encourage all of you who are interested in the UCRP, and the principles for which it stands, to get involved. It is going to take maximum involvement by those in the party. I look forward to hearing your ideas and input at our meetings. The next meeting is going to be April 26th at the Union County Library at 7PM. Please attend if you can and also visit our website at www.uniongop.org. Thank You! Sincerely, Chuck Honaker *PROUD INFIDEL*
