::)On a positive note:All politicians do not lie. Thus far;of the ones I have met at Union county courthouse;one stands out.Mr.Alan Conley;clerk of court. He is as fine a gentleman as can be found anywhere. When I need information; he does not require a written form.He does not give us the runaround saying ;"I do not know or I will get back with you.Mr. Conley runs a tight ship. If any records are found in his office;you can rest assured he did not change them.Any politician could only wish to be half the man he is.His integrity speaks loudly. When he spoke about his family and Grandchildren;I saw love in his eyes;and heard warm and tender words.I envied such a man.Would not this world be a better place with more Alan Conleys around?

If more Alan Conleys were employed, then business could get back to boring around here, because all would be well in the kingdom. Ask him a question and if he doesn't know (which would be rare) he would have you wait just a minute while he found out. Can't find something in the record books, if he's there, he will help you himself. Just want to chat, then talk for awhile.
No one needs to run for that office because he has it sewed up.

I will give praise to honest and good fellows and not post negative post without proof. Judge James B. O-Connor taught me better. I would hope others would do likewise.

Another "good guy" is former representative Carlton Colwell. He did alot of good things for this county while he was in office.
