Justin is a true gentleman, which we have too few of around here. And the only fruad is Lamar's dirty tactics. Whether Lamar sanctioned it or not, it is already blowing up in his face. Don't cry Ironman or you'll rust inspite of all the sunshine.

Justin - the unjust one would have bene better off if he had gotten kicked off hte ballot. He is a discgrace to himself and my county. And if by some fluke he were to win he will be shot just like Obama.

And if by some fluke he were to win he will be shot just like Obama. I believe it is against the law to threated a political candidate with violence.... Normal, someone could easily report this post to the secret service. I'm sure you would love that publicity. Now that you are quoted, it would be very easy for this to stay as evidence against you in a court of law.

Bubba, I agree that normal's reference to Justin getting shot if elected is inappropriate and could be viewed as a threat. However, what does SPLOST have to do with it? Just because informed citizens can accurately predict events doesn't mean there was corruption. I based my predictions on samplings gathered from people's opinions at work, at community SPLOST meetings, and people I talked to in the community. It usually ran 80 percent for and 20 percent against in my samplings. It's simple statistical sampling; not corruption. Bubba, were you at the SPLOST meeting? I think you said you had something better to do. Anyway, most of the people at the meeting were for SPLOST. I think the 80 % was an educated guess. Heck, about 80 % of the people booed Tony Dyer when he got up and tried to use the question and answer period for a campaign speech. By the way, most of the people I talk to in the community think Lamar will win again. I will tell you my "prediction" after the election. I think Justin is OK, and I certainly don't think he has done anything to deserve being shot. I think our community is better than that. The reaction I get from my neighbors and friends when we talk about who is running for the election is (1) "Who is Justin"? (2) Cook had his chance. (3) Gene is OK, but what can he do? (4) and then there is Tony who is singing "This Town Needs is a Bar". Jeremy Mccomb - This Town Needs A Bar Lyrics Who builds a town, without a neon light, there should be a place, where the lonely go at night for people just like me, who just want to disappear in the smoke and the darkness Maybe drop a couple tears Chorus This town needs a bar cause I need a drink, a little place not too far where I don't have to think or wonder who your with, don't wanna wonder where you are, that might do the trick, this town needs a bar.

-The Manape
That's good news for Justin as people do not have a dead set opinion of him so they are willing to listen and give him a chance.
People in your circle that is. We all tend to hang around like minded people, so we think everyone thinks like us. The people I know, know Justin and I understand a lot of people do. But that is just what I have seen. Unlike Manape, I am not willing to claim to know the future based on heresay.

" Bubba, I understand correlation and I can assure you I function with many topics at a time on many levels. I just don't understand your fuzzy logic, how you draw the wrong conclusions, why you think voters who do not agree with your crappy conclusions are wrong, and how you can be so wrong about the good people of Union County all the time.

Tony Dyer has an entire platform an issuing beer and wine license is just issue he has made a stand on. Your Dear Lamar wants alcohol also but has already backed himself into a corner. If re elected I would bet that alcohol will be in Union County under Lamar's tenure. The thing is Lamar will have the city issue the license so he won't have to take the heat. He's just that way. Some people call it being a politician, I call it being full of crap. He's a phony. Always has been. You ask all the time how Tony can cut the budget. I will tell you how - quit paying over inflated prices for land that the county wants for luxury and not for infrastructure. This will allow property taxes to be cut some. Lamar has spent way too much money for his own preferences. Using the newspaper as a political pawn is just really stupid and immature. The fact that Lamar and Norman Cooper huddle up a few hours a week and script up a fake Q&A is reason enough for me not to vote for him. He is such a fake. The bottom line is if the people of Union County vote Lamar back in then they deserve him.

Tony is just doing what he thinks is best for bringing business to the county because he recognizes the need. Tony never said anything about a bar. Nobody wants to see a bar in this county.
Is there a song about wanting to bring a farmer's market to town? If we utilize the same logic we can use that song to sum up Mr. Paris' platform. And it would be equally ridiculous.
