I've only met him once and he seems like a decent fellow. I heard a rumor that Randall Allen was fired from the position of the county marshal when he announced that he was considering running for sheriff.

I don't know Doug personally, but do know his brother and he is a very nice guy.

I have spoken with Doug for 30 Minutes or more in person at an event at the North Georgia Technical College. He went into great detail as to how he wants to make changes in our community in a very positive direction. There were many issues that were of great concern to me and he took the time to answer each question for me and go into great detail as to how he would handle each issue. I was greatly impressed by his answers and hope that others take the time to contact Doug and ask questions.
