Sorry, haven't been able to be on here for a while. I wonder how many times I have seen Lonesome Dove. Back before we got our dish, we only got the Atlanta station, and it wasn't very good reception, we would have to rent movies. I guess I saw every new/old one they had. Bought Lonesome Dove tape and on rainey days would slip that puppy and watch one of my favorite actors, Robert Duvall, whoop all the bad guys all the way from Texas to Montana.
Every time I have watched GWTW (many, many times over the years), I keep hoping that Scarlett and Rhett will get their act together, stay together and live happily ever after.

I've watched "GWTW" 3 times, it is my all time favorite movie. I read the sequel "Scarlett" by Alexandra Ripley and at the end, Rhett and Scarlett do get back together.

Watched a old Elvis movie this afternoon on TVland. "Love Me Tender". It was pretty good, but sad at the end.

Rose, I have a documentary that we got at Walmart.. I boo hoo'd at the end of it. I was never a real big Elvis fan.. but it was mainly because I DIDNT KNOW what I do now.
My inlaws went to the Peacock theater in Hayesville Friday night. They enjoyed that very much.
I use to go as well but now its just not as easy.
Have you ever been?

Crazywild, I have never been to the Peacock Theater, i'm ashamed to admit. Hope to make it to a play one of these days.
Did you mean "The Gambler" with Kenny Rogers? That was one of my favs that I forgot to mention.

yes mam!!! I love the Gambler!! We got it at Walmart around Christmas in the cheap bin.. I was on cloud nine!hehe! Yes indeed... the Peacock is awesome in my humble opinion.. they have a new play that they are expecting out in Sept.. I hope that ya do get to go sometime.. We went to The Alliance Theater.. and it was really good too but I was shocked at the differences.. Peacock (in my humble opinion) does much better than the big city.. I would go back to both but my pick would be The Peacock.. Shaw, I love going to the movie theaters... its nice to do.. just havent had the time and probably wont for a while.. thank God for dvds and vhs..
