Anybody know of a place to take line dance lessons, locally? I love to do it, but since I moved up here I have been out of the loop. I do not like the bar scene, so I was looking for a civic center or something that has them. Anybody know?

Blairsville School of Dance offers tons of different dance classes for adults & kids. Angela is super with the kids & is a great teacher. Not sure about the line dancing though.

Maddy yes I am from the other forum. Where and what is Oasis? Bee I am working on going this weekend as well. It is great exercise, I used to do it all the time, and from what I hear Kev did as well..... Now he says, "Why would I want to do that, that is boring?" I said, "Because you love your wife and she really would like to go." If I can not get him committed to going, they I will start a girls club, and we will go, oh and he can start a daddy daycare and take care of the kids. I crack myself up.

I talked to hubby and if we can work it we are going to try to go to the Music Park this Friday. Friday nights usually have a pretty small crowd, and they don't have a fiddle... at least you won't be crowded on the dance floor.

Kev will go just to see what's up. My hubby is up for it and a small crowd is great for him. It is nice to do something together we both enjoy and hopefully it's free or cheap. Lilred will love it.

Oasis is classes that they give up at the Methodist church, but I think you have to be 50 and up to sign up. Lie about your age! Tell em you had a face lift!

The music on Friday is the same guys as Saturday, minus the fiddle player (that's my hunny!) They play country, a few hoe-downs, a few waltzes, a little old rock. I don't know if they do the hoe-downs on Friday since that is usually a fiddle as lead. You can copy and paste this link to get some more info....http://wind-riderstables.com/morgantonmusicpark.html The one thing I see wrong on the website is admission is now $7 per adult, $3 per kid.
