Was so happy to see the rain we got today. It was really starting to get very dry. Everything has "perked" up and looks so refreshed!

The rain was badly needed; was glad when it started this morning!! This time of year, everything looks so pretty and 'alive' after a good rain.  I was reading on the Weather Channel site earlier this evening, and it seems we are in for some cooler days this coming week. Don't put away those long sleeves yet! |

It sure is turning cold after that thunderstorm we had last night. I'm glad for the rain though. The flowers and gardens needed it plus it makes for a good day of mud bogging.

Was 20* again this morning and sure enough, it finished everything off. The dogwood blossoms look so pitiful and the leaves on all the trees have a scorched look! Afraid there won't be any peaches off of the tree this summer!

Lilred had a soccer game today, we bundled up to sit it out in the snow and sleet and the other team didn't show.
