All this pollen is really starting to get to me.....have a scratchy throat, watery eyes, and feel just plain miserable. Everyone please pray for rain!

The smoke from the south Georgia fire is so bad here today that when I looked outside I thought the woods were on fire! When you can smell it inside your house that is getting very serious! I never open my windows this time of year on account of the pollen.

Praise God!! We finally got some much needed rain this afternoon. It was so nice to actually smell that good, clean air scent after a rain! Everything looks really perked up too.

We got a decent shower on friday and a small shower yesterday. About three days of good slow soaking rain would be nice.

We got a little rain here before dark. I was working in the garden when it started to rain. I was planting some okra, beans and corn and it felt good playing in the dirt and the rain. 10-4 on the soaking rain. We need it.

Our power went out for a bout 15 minutes but did we get any rain? NOOOOOOO!! Oh well, at least some parts of the county got a good soaking.

Got 2 very soaking rains yesterday. Seems like it has gone from one extreme to the other.... it was dry as a desert and now it stays muddy all the time. Oh well.... it sure is helping the flowers and other plants!
