Bringing this topic back up. You need to know and be made aware. www.familywatchdog.us/search.aspType in your street name, city and state and it list the offenders around you. It works for all states. The last time I did this I realized there was an offender less than a mile from where I lived. I contacted the people who rented it, I knew them, and ask them if they knew. they said "No, he has never said anything" and they had him leave. Their kids had camped several times in the field close to the house and there were young children living in the home with the offender. I realize we don't need to panic and some people are prosecuted wrongly, but the vast majority are predators and we need to be aware.

There's 2 that come in regulary where I work...every now and then, 2 more drop by. It's very hard to put aside my personal feelings where they're concerned, and I'm sure they can tell that I am 'cold' towards them, but you know what...I don't really care. And before someone comments to me about judging and forgiveness, I"ll just say, that is between me and God.

I don't think anyone would would think bad of you, ruby. And I'm sure they get the idea that you know who they are and that you don't want to get chummy with them!
