Folks start selling before 7:00, customers get there to get produce before it sells out and before it get's to hot out. It's still cool in the mornings.
Produce will start selling out by 8:30 or sooner. Those who wait until 9 or later miss out on a lot of stuff.
Coosa getting up early let's you enjoy more of the day, get outside while it's cool and if you are on the road see some of the wildlife out moving before it get's to hot. Plus you avoid a lot of the traffic.
The drive thru's at the bank even open at 8:30 before the bank does.

2CC, I bought some of that same bread and it is awesome! Just had a piece toasted for breakfast. CF, it's worth getting up early to be there by 7:30. People line up to buy fresh picked corn. I was able to get a few early heirloom tomatoes that tasted just like the tomatoes my great uncle grew when I was a child. Managed to spend $40.00 in under an hour and could have spent more if we weren't leaving town the next day. Great variety for early in the season and will only get better in the next month. Oh yeah, then there is that HONEY booth with the most gorgeous, intelligent gal you'll ever meet. Only thing wrong with her is all that orange she always wears to market. A gal that smart should know that if she added some BLUE to the orange it would enhance her beauty and intelligence tenfold!

Looks like the price on YOUR honey and soap just went up. I am probably going to get some of that bread this weekend.

Looks like the price on YOUR honey and soap just went up. I am probably going to get some of that bread this weekend. ROFLMAO! Next time I will bring several loaves of that bread home and freeze it. I had people envious at work cause I would bring 2 slices in and toast it. They wanted to know where I got it. so I may even have to bring loaves home for them. Sangria, I think for Christmas I'm giving that purdy, smart honey & soap lady a USF Bulls shirt, cause those boys are coming up the pike!

Here is how my weekend went:
On Friday evening we weed-eated and mowed bee-yards.
On Saturday: Up at 5 ready for the Farmer's Market, worked until 11:00, made a bank run then headed home to get lilred and go to the mountains wildcrafting. Swung by Meeks Park and visited with all my crafting buddies for about an hour, got a bite to eat and headed to Mulky Gap. Hiked UPHILL for about an hour and found lot's of bear sign, herbs and a huge Cucumber tree that had fallen. Back down to eat blackberries and search for Wild hydrangea, which is plentiful. Back to town to get groceries and home. Got home and dug up half my flower bed to get ready for the new porch, transplanted flowers (my Coneflowers died boo-hoo) deadheaded and trimmed back other flower beds, cleaned dog pens and caught up laundry. Me and lilred rented and watched "The Eye" and finally made it to bed about 12:30.
Sunday; Sunday School and Church, home to change, headed out to Home Depot (big allowance boost for the Falcons) got all the stuff for the new porch. Back home to unload all the lumber, moved Boo dog to another pen, (he keeps tearing the chain link fence down), started cabbage, vac'd house, hung out laundry, made a batch of Baby Powder soap, picked about 2 gallons of wild black cherries, cleaned them and washed them and froze them for jelly. Straightened house, finished laundry, had to go put a wire panel back up on the big lot (boo knocked it down) chatted with lilred and friends, CHECKED MY E-MAIL, posted here and went to bed.

let me clarify, Coosa. want i was trying to say so as to stay on topic was: Weekend Plans --------- hopefully there will be some sort of contract this weekend. I did not mean to imply that there will be. Just trying to be upbeat we refuse to lower the price any more.
