Charles Jenkins got a bill passed that would cap property reassessments in Towns county from being raised more than 3% per year. Union county was not included in the bill because Mr. Liemar Paris told Charlie not to include us. Correct or no?

Why wouldn't any commish want this for his county? Was Towns the only county that took Mr. Jenkins up on this and if so why? Can you help us out Gene?

Liemar said in his taxpayer funded reelection column that one of his future goals is to help get legislation passed that will put a cap on reassessments. It's funny that he lists that as a goal since he asked Mr. Jenkins TO EXCLUDE Union from the bill that Towns county will greatly benefit from. I'm beginning to have doubts about Mr. Jenkins, maybe Stephen Allison would be a better choice for our rep.
