I have a question about building. How many of you live in houses that have been built on top of posts?

Sorry tequilla, my house isn't on posts. I have seen a few up the Gainesville Hwy. on the river that are though.

That is the way i was thinking. The only reason to build a house on posts is if you are worried about flooding, or the river or at the beach.

I have never met two builders who build the same. I know many.. and I am good friends with many.. I have never met two that build the same. Then again, I know some who sub contract phases such as foundation, framing.. etc. Some may take credit for the whole house, some even deserve credit for a turn key job.
