Well I am new to this board, but I have been intrigued with it for months now. After deliberating for a long time and talking to others, my vote is for Tony. He may not have the answer for everything right now but he definitely has goals in mind. He has the type of management style that will demand those around him to be included in decision matters for the county. It will not just be his way. I know him very well and I have talked to many that also either know his family or have worked with him. He is not afraid to admit if he has made a mistake and will do better. That is what we need right now to start things off on a new turn. And in regards to he mows grass for a living... Give me a break. He owns several business, develops land, and has held many management positions, including with the state of Georgia from what I have heard. Regardless, there is nothing wrong with anyone that does mow grass for a living.... Hard work never hurt anyone.

Confused, how long have you known tony? Do you know anything about him personally? Honesty, being a worker, having morals, and being able to control your temper when countered is a must when becoming a comish. Just evaluate the candidates on their own merits then hopefully your confusion will subside.

I have known Tony for over 15 years, but I am closer to age with his children. I see how he raised them with a great work ethic. I am not confused about who to vote for, just life in general. Tony is my family's guy. Win or lose, I hope he knows he has started a great thing in this county with all the dialogue about what should and shouldn't change.

I know him very long and for as long as I have lived in Georgia he has morals, his is honest, and I have never seen a bad temper, nor seen him mad.......
I know his whole family very well for that matter and they are all great. I know some on this forum like to tear down people, but while your checking out the weeds in somebody elses backyard, you might want to check out your own. Pretty weedy I hear....

It looks like it's gonna be close between Gene and Justin. And Liemar has THREE votes? I know that one is his own and one is Norm's, but how did he convince someone else to vote for him?  |

Justin post on here, so we always refer to him as Justin, it is hard not to know the idiot screwing up the county day by day (Liemore is what we really call him), and the other 2 although Gene has posted I refered to as first and last name because some people might now know. Needless to say, Lamar is gone it appears, so all is happy in my world.
