OK Boys and Girls, today we are going to learn about inflation.
Most of your moms and dads will tell you "inflation" means things cost more. Listen, pay attention now. All you have to remember is the truth about "exchange rate"
If you go to the grocery store and "exchange" two of your dollars for one gallon of milk, the exchange rate for dollars to milk is two-to-one.
If a week later you go to the store and exchange dollars for milk and this time it takes three dollars to get one gallon of milk the exchange rate increased by 50% because it is now one dollar more and one dollar is 50% of two dollars. Got that? Boys and girls?
Boys and girls you tell mom and dad that it doesn't make a tinkers dam what kind of a dress you put on a pig, it's still a hog!
